I want to recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owner interested in Pet Insurance. We have had Healthy Paws coverage on two of our dogs over the last 10 years. Our first was our Greyhound (Thunder) who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at the age of 9. We fought the cancer through our state university veterinary school and our Healthy Paws coverage helped us extend Thunders life for almost a year. A few years later we adopted our Dash from a local dog shelter and have had him from a pup for the last seven years. Last August he was diagnosed with Lymphoma and has been undergoing a regimen of Chemo for the last 8 weeks. Without our Healthy Paws coverage, we would not be able to afford this treatment. I would have preferred to not have to take advantage of this coverage, but it is an absolute blessing when the unexpected illness strikes your best friend. The Healthy paws rates are reasonable, and their coverage is fast and fair.
Easy claim process
I called to clarify coverage and the representative I spoke to was very helpful and informative. Filing a claim on the app was easy and hassle free. I like that Fetch also keeps you posted on the status of your claim.

Sheela , my Senior Australian Shepherd, of 8 years old, tore her ACL this past Oct. It was going to require surgery, not just surgery but an surgery requiring an Orthopedic type surgery performed. Cost $3,800 , for pkg to repair my dogs ACL. But also , follow ups & meds. Without insurance I would be in a Bind for money to cover the costs. Embrace came through for me & mostly for my dog.

Deceptive billing practices
Been with you for several years, and been very happy, until now. I never received a renewal email notice this year, nor did I receive notice the day before I was billed. Seems convenient, seeing as my premium had a 200% increase. And because I didn't notice it until the day I was billed, and you were closed , I had to wait until the next day to cancel. And then I was charged 15 dollars for those 2 days. You don't allow cancelation through the website. So, you should have 24 hour coverage, so when someone gets blind sided, they can take action immediately. I feel it is deceptive billing practices, and that is how I am going to address it to the BBB. I have had the same email address since joining, and it wasn't in my junk mail. I am sure I am not the only one who has been surprised.

I am relieved when the vet charges are presented, because I know I’ve got insurance to cover most of it. The process is carried out in a few days. In complex things, it might be a bit longer. But it’s amazingly fast. I consider myself blest to have Embrace and a great vet clinic for my little pal. The Embracers are friendly, efficient and professional.
