I was offered Pet insurance through my…

I was offered Pet insurance through my company. well, don't waste your time. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat I insured them all. I made a claim on our 2 year old Giant schnauzer and it was denied, He had one testicle that did not descend and our local veterinary clinic stated he needed surgery to remove the testicle and Nationwide would not cover it. They stated Neutering was not covered. Well we had no intention on neutering him . well we never got reimbursed for that. then in November he got a stick stuck in his mouth he needed to be rushed to an emergency clinic and the clinic needed to but him to sleep to remove the stick , Nationwide also refused to pay for that stating, the clinic did not itemize the bill. I called the clinic and asked for it to be itemized and the clinic sent me the exact same form. when I spoke to a representative from Nationwide they said they needed it itemized I asked if they could call the clinic. The representative I spoke to just did not seem like they wanted to go out of their way to do anything for a paying customer. needless to say 2 claims both rejected. I think it was time to cancel our policy. Please don't waste your money on Nationwide

Pumkpin insurance was great about…quick payme

Pumkpin insurance was great about paying all bills at 90%. I would recommend them as a pet insurance. The only drawback is that they are quite expensive, especially for a dog breed that I do have which is a English bulldog..

Exceeded Expatiations

I recently needed to speak to two of your associates due to having to cancel on credit card and substitute it with a new one. I notified Embrace bout the card hacks so that they wouldn't bill against that card. Within 24 hours I called back to update the new card information. In both conversations I was treated with the utmost professionalism and curtesy.

A Great Investment in my Pet's Health

Always a good experience with Pumpkin Insurance. My kitty now has kidney disease and it's really comforting to know I have the support of insurance so I do not have to spare expense for my boy. It was a great investment to do for a few years so eventually it would cover health expenses. Pumpkin usually gets to my claims within a week and the money is deposited into my account the day the claim is reviewed. My one phone call discussing what was covered when I first signed up was very helpful and the employee was kind. All employees I have emailed with have been very pleasant and punctual. Can't recommend enough, just please understand it's an investment in the future and not something to get after your pet has been diagnosed.
