Every time I have called the agents are super helpful. Our dog was diagnosed with lymphoma and I was preparing myself for a let down with the insurance. It was the direct opposite. The agents called my vet twice and were far more help than the office at my vet.
Every time I deal with Trupanion I am waiting to bang into that proverbial insurance wall which will finally prove they are too good to be true. And every time they meet or exceed my expectations!

Also, I love how my personal vet can submit straight to you. Last week I had to go to another vet and pay myself. When I submitted the bill to your it was approved and paid within 48 hours. Fantastic service.
I would highly recommend Trupanion to anyone, and would encourage anyone who doesn’t have let insurance to get it. Because you never know when you’ll need it. And after a cancer diagnosis for my dog, at 5yo, boy, did we need it. It took a TON and stress of a horrible situation.
Every aspect of my communication was positive. The agent took the time to explain what I needed to know and made my choice of insurance coverage comfortable and she made me feel that I had chosen wisely, which gave me peace of mind.

Even though I think the Trupanion Insurance is great and would recommend it, my experience trying to get additional puppies on my ALAA Group Plan with Trupanion has been horrible! I've been trying to get two additional puppies added for maybe 10 days to 2 weeks and talk to Trupanion folks but they say they have to have someone else call me that is in the Group Department and I never get a call back. In the meantime these dogs are uninsured!!! I tell my Puppy Families to sign up the day they get a puppy from me and they have good experiences...thankfully. NOT ME, HOWEVER. Not happy!
