Healthy Paws have a friendly staff and care for your pets. One of my pets had two ACL surgeries, one on each leg, and Healthly Paws was able to cover most of the bill. Compared to other pet insurances, I find Healthy Paws' premiums are affordable and provide a discount when you address changes or add a pet. I have two pets too.

No Empathy
I've been with Pet's Best since 2016. Never needed anything; I submitted maybe 2 small claims for standard vet visits and routine meds over the course of that time, which just went towards the deductible, so nothing that was ever a chance to see any financial assistance. When I finally did need them for major surgery, my claim was denied with nothing more than a message that said "check your policy". The technicality was that I had changed the type of plan she was on, and she must not have been on it long enough for her to qualify for assistance. When I went to express my concerns, I was met with another impersonal message with no hint of empathy for this incredibly expensive surgery. Tough that I sunk over a thousand dollars in premiums into this company to get literally nothing in return. I hope they use the money to hire someone who cares.

CHICO HAS GREAT HEALTHCARE COVERAGE
I have submitted multiple claims for Chico. Healthy Paws offers the easiest submissions by uploading with a photo and press submit button. Claims are generally processed in a week. Chico is currently taking thyroid medication, has had a broken tooth, a broken nail, eaten bees resulting in an allergic reaction and TPLO knee surgery. Healthy Paws covered it all.

DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE
I have been a loyal customer to Healthy Paws for 10 years, and how did they reward me?!? By increasing my monthly payment to $200 a month! I started out paying $30 a month, and when my boxer was too old to go anywhere else, they trapped me and hiked up my monthly rates. DO NOT GO WITH HEALTHY PAWS!!! I just got another puppy and will go with another pet insurance company, not one that will bait and hook me like Healthy Paws.

Glad we have Healthy Paws Insurance!
We purchased this plan just about 2 years ago when we first adopted our puppy. Last year we bought a second policy for another puppy we adopted. I am so glad we decided to protect our pups. Our young dog suddenly needed TPLO surgery. Healthy Paws has been a blessing between getting all the diagnostic tests (x-rays, etc) done to helping pay for the meds she needed while she waited for surgery. Most claims are processed and reimbursement mailed out within 1-2 days of filing the claim. While the surgery claim took longer and it took a couple of phone calls for me to understand fully what they needed, once we had all of this, the claim was processed quickly and every customer service rep I spoke with was very friendly and helpful.

First time every having pet insurance’ we could not be happier with the quick, caring and efficient service and payments.

Excellent and Speedy Services
We consulted few friends while selecting the right insurance for our dog. Most of them recommended Trupanion. Even though we saw some bad reviews regarding Trupanion but we compare with other insurance quotations and decided on Trupanion. After Marley was under the protection, we visited the vet for two times and the claims were done by the vet automatically even though it is still under the deductible amount. Then on May 9, Mayley had diarrhea and needed to stay in the clinic on May 10. He needed too stay in the clinic for the whole day and recovered well. The bill was also automatically claimed by the vet and the approval was done in seconds and I just need to pay my own portion before taking Marley home.
I am sure I make the right choice for my dog and home no need to submit the claim again.

A new breed of insurance
All companies say they care but it’s not until you use Lemonade that you really see the difference. Lemonade is fast and simple to use. Lemonade takes the stress out of submitting a claim at a time when all you really care about is your pet. Once submitted you get to work with a person, with an actual name and a sense of humour just when you need it! Lemonade cares about what your pet means to you and goes the extra distance to keep you connected. Great company.
