Denied Claim - Dog ACL Tear

My dog was limping after long walks so I assumed something was wrong. I prepared for the worst by getting insurance in June 2024 that cover hip dysplasia and knee surgeries. My dog needed a TPLO surgery, it took place in November 2024. Surgery went great and filed the claim. December I call to check on the funds, Pets Best says, "You have to wait 6 months before any surgical procedures can be claimed. You are 1 month to early!"

Our dog Ravioli became critically ill…

Our dog Ravioli became critically ill in June and has been battling her illness for six months-She has been close to death many times. Without Pet’s Best and Tufts, she would not be here today. Having Pet’s Best has allowed us to give her the best care possible, so she could have the best chance to recover. I am happy to say, that after all this time, and many sleepless nights, she is recovering. I am forever grateful to Tufts and Pet’s Best for allowing us to give her the chance she deserved to heal. We aren’t quite out of the woods yet, but if we remain stable for another two weeks, they consider her cured, which is truly a miracle!

THE WORSE PET INSURANCE COMPANY. RAISED PREMIUM WITHOUT REASON. JUST ANOTHER MONEY EATING TAKING ADVANTAGE HEALTH COMPANY IN AMERICA. DO NOT GET EMBRACE. MY PET IS MORE THAN HEALTHY AND HER PREMIUM HAS GONE UP ASTRONOMICALLY. MY OTHER DOG WHICH IS INSURED WITH ---HEALTHY PAWS--- (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ONE ) HAS HAD SO MANY ISSUES, NOT ONLY SHE HAS HAD SO MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS, BUT ALL THE INVOICES ARE COVERED NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Easy claims process & great service

Our cat developed cancer and Embrace covered us fully every step of the way, with no pushback, no claims denied and no hassle. Claims have all been processed quickly and in full, sometimes the same day or next day. We have been very happy with Embrace.

They don't cover anything

They don't cover anything. If you want coverage for anything that you would actually need insurance for, you have to get it as an add on. Definitely a huge waste of money. Switching over to Banfield asap.

Absolutely THE worst

Absolutely THE worst. We have been loyal customers for over 9 years. I have paid over $6000 in premiums. Never missed a payment. Always on time. Even after our monthly payments have tripled, I stayed. I have gotten ONE claim back for $46. That is it. When I signed up in 2015, they had a program where your deductible decreased if you didn't have any claims. Mine was down to $100. They have now decided to just get rid of that. NO notice. No email. No letter. No common courtesy. Nothing. There was no compensation. No trade off benefit. Just a "oh well" from them. We stayed and paid the increased premiums because of this benefit and they stripped us of it for no reason and no notice. Absolutely horrible company.
