RIP YOU OFF YEAR AFTER YEAR!!!!
Every year Trupanion has increased my monthly premium by at minimum $25-30. Their reason is because the overall cost of veterinary care in my area. This is ridiculous because my own vet does not increase their cost. My rescue dog's premium in the 4 years I have had him has gone us from $85 to $172 monthly. He has urinary incontinence and his medication is $100 monthly so not sure if his policy is worth cancelling since his meds are covered at 90%. This insurance is a complete rip off since I have never had an emergency and the money spent should have just gone to savings to cover a major emergency.

Terrible - do not reccomend!
TERRIBLE - signed up the very first day when I went to the vet for the FIRST time. They will not cover ANYTHING that comes up in the trial insurance period (2 months) EVEN if you signed up for the insurance and the issue happened after. Then when you sign on for the full insurance they state that anything covered in the trial period will NEVER be covered under your policy. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR TRAIL with them as it intentionally causes you not to be covered for anything that comes up in the first two months FOREVER. This is intentional. WORST SERVICE EVER, total waist of money. Also the claim process is complicated and not clear.

Easy Claims Process
Very easy claims process. I just scan in my receipt from my vet &/or specialist and submit it to Pets Best Insurance. I am notified via email the status of the claim. It generally takes a few weeks to receive payment, if you are due for reimbursement. We have 3 large dogs and have a policy on all of them. Vets &/or specialists can be very expensive, so having the insurance is a little peace of mind.

Trupanion is always there for us
I cannot stress enough how important pet insurance is. Trupanion has been there for us through all of our claims (we’ve had quite a few!) the customer service is exceptional and the claims process is so easy. Having a pre approval takes away the added stress to an already stressful vet visit.

Great for the unexpected pet healthcare needs
Insurance is about peace of mind and when we brought our new Border Collie to our home, I wanted to make sure that our sweet and energetic/athletic new family member would be covered for potential unexpected health issues. He sustained an injury and per the policy, Healthy Paws helped to cover costs of the procedure that will help him lead a healthy and active life. Thanks for the support.
