Worth the wait.
I feel that I was definitely given a fair claim. I was so thankful to be reimbursed for the cost of my cat swallowing a Nerf gun dart. The only unfortunate thing was that it was hard to speak with a live person… Long hold times. Also, it took quite a while to get reimbursed. However, if you are willing to wait, it’s worth it …especially since this insurance has such a low upfront cost. I would recommend!

So happy we were covered by Trupanion!
Almost lost my girl, she ingested something, and needed EMG surgery. I had to sign for a potential 4,000 bill, a week before Christmas. I was so relieved to have the insurance! Thank you Trupanion.

Consistent, personable services
Every time I call, someone answers right away. They are all friendly, personable, which you don't find very often, much less with such consistency. The only problem I have is the system to upload documents never works, and this has slowed down the process dramatically, and hindered communication.

Peace of mind
My dog was injured and I ended up taking him to the emergency vet during the middle of the night. Of course the cost was high. I was only worried about him that night. But the next day, he was starting to feel better and I was worried about the cost. I filed a claim and the funds came back quickly. I am very grateful for SPOT.

Customer service
I called to check on claim status and to change payment for my renewal due on 1/11/25 and it now appears my policy was cancelled. I do not see an option to renew with my new payment method. Bad communication sadly. I called today and had a fantastic rep , all is good and thank you for the follow up.
