I wasn't reimbursed because deduction limit wasn't met yet. Feels as though I am wasting money because I'm paying almost $50 a month for 2 years so something should have been reimbursed by now. Everything I'm paying is out of pocket..
I was astounded by how quickly Trupanion responded to the Claims I submitted, via the Vet. They also were fast in answering the Vet's question as to whether the Ultrsound would be covered. In addition, the reimbursement cheque arrived within a week of the claime being submitted...most efficient. Trumpanion did an excellent job, via email, in informing me of the status of my claim.
I just had my first claim and it was very smooth. I like the 24 hour customer service. I would have given it a 10/10, but the way the policy is you can’t change your deductible after you choose a plan. You can only increase it. One of my dogs has never had a claim and I’m stuck with a high deductible. Also, based where I live the premiums go up. My one plan jumped up over $15 a month and again no claims.
I haven't actually submitted a claim.for my dogs injury, as it requires further assessment and time for swelling to go down. However, I was and am distraught at my puppy's injury and the lady that took my call was very empathetic and reassuring.
