Easy and quick claims process
We have an 8 month old puppy who has had a few rounds of diarrhea, conjunctivitis and most recently received a dog bite at the dog park. Despite the multiple trips to the vet, we have been extremely pleased with both the ease of submitting a claim (simply upload a picture of the itemized bill) and the quick turnaround time for reimbursement. The app is also very user friendly. We are very glad that we decided to get our pet insurance with Healthy Paws.

We have been so thankful that we got pet insurance for our puppy, Ruby! Due to some medical issues, she had multiple trips to the emergency vet during her first year, and Healthy Paws was very quick to process our claims. They make it clear what is covered and what is not when they send explanations of coverage. Their customer support team has been helpful and friendly.
I’m a little concerned to see if our rates are going to skyrocket when our policy renews, but we still recommend everyone get pet insurance when bringing home a pet!
When we adopted our German Shepherd we knew we wanted to get her insured early. I know old, large dogs have hip problems and all sorts of other things that can bankrupt you. Add to that the strongest prey drive I’ve ever seen in a dog and we were using our insurance benefits early and often! Just recently we had to send our dog in for MAJOR surgery (like $10k). Healthy Paws has covered all of our claims and even sent a little email checking in on our pup. Everyone I’ve called for customer service is just the nicest person ever. Highly recommend!!

I have been a client with Health Paws for a few years now. Never had a problem filing a claim and getting reimbursed (quick and easy process). Just recently my dog went into some dark chocolate left on the table (he is very mischievous) during the holidays. We called pet poison control who suggested to bring him to the next open hospital (holiday and after hours) he needed to stay overnight and it was heartbreaking. Filing a claim was easy, painless and I got reimbursed in a few days. For my surprise, after a week is so, I received an email from the company checking on my lovely pet. Felt amazing dealing with a company so caring. I love doing business with Health Paws. Over the years I have recommended Healthy Paws to anyone with a pet. When we rushed him to the animal hospital at night, we had no clue how much it would cost us, but his health was our priority. The hospital bill was definitely scary but dealing with health paws was painless and I received my reimbursement really quickly. Great company!
Recently switched from another insurer to Pets Best and filed my first well puppy claim. The process was fast and easy resulting in reimbursement within 2 weeks. I hope that future accident/illness claims goes as smoothly.
This insurance has been so beneficial. Our girl broke her toe while playing. Trupanion has been the best. Our Vet submits claims and before we are ready to check out Trupanion has responded. Due to her injury Ruby requires seeing the Vet twice a week for bandage changes. Trupanion picks up 90% of what is covered. After pondering whether pet insurance was truly needed, this injury has proven how wise it was to purchase Trupanion and Trupanion has proven how they are helpful to us.
