I've had Trupanion since Swish was a puppy. Over the last 10 1/2 years of his life, he's been relatively healthy. Now he has 1 medical issue that led to another issue and a few large emergency vet bills. It's been so incredibly easy to file claims with Trupanion, they process right away, their explanation of benefits is very easy to read and understand and best yet is they get your reimbursement out quickly. The same reason I carry health insurance on myself is the reason I carry health insurance for Swish - peace of mind.
I've had my claim come back incorrect once but it was corrected afterI called and notified a Customer reprepresentative.
I've had my claim come back incorrect once, but it was corrected afterI called and notified a Customer reprepresentative. However, one of my claims was filed under a different claim when it should have went towards the correct diagnosis claim. Some people receiving the claims aren't as deligent in making sure that they are putting the current claim that has been previously diagnosed and claimed before under that claim that was just received. Another words, it was put under the wrong claim so my deductible want correct.
It’s based solely on signing up. It was relatively easy, but lacked answers to some basic questions. I wouldn’t want someone to think that I’m recommending the insurance when I have not had to actually use it.
