Getting in touch with you guys is ridiculously easy as well. The only reason I don't give a higher recommendation is because cost has risen sharply in the last couple of years, nearly doubling, from 40ish to 70ish now per month. And while I feel I still have had great value in the past, it now costs about as much to insure my vehicle.
Trupanion has been exceptional from day one. Unfortunately, my dog has had a very long list of issues in his short life, only 3.5 years old but Trupanion has truly lived up to all of their promises. I don't say any of this lightly. I've always been a skeptic of insurance companies but based on my experience with Trupanion I've changed my perspective.
Honestly, I can't recommend them enough. I proudly tell people where to buy their pet insurance, without hesitation. It may seem like hyperbole but I assure you that I'm grateful for this organization because without them I doubt I would have been able to give my dog the care he has needed. Hospital visits and surgeries and MRI's are not cheap. I'd never adopt a pet without getting insurance and if need an honest company to commit to, well, Trupanion is the best company around for that. I know because I did the research.
Oh, and one point of recommendation, get the extended insurance which includes physical therapy and any post operative therapies. I remember this being a separate addition to the insurance. Double check with an agent. Just call their support line and talk to them to see how responsive they are. Don't take my word for it. And submitting a claim takes about 20 seconds. What more can I say other than "Thank-you!" I mean that sincerely.
Trupanion has been amazing since day one. The service is excellent and the turnaround time is so quick. We feel so grateful to have Trupanion as the insurer for our fur baby, knowing she will have a wonderful, healthy life.
Trupanion has always been flawless to deal with. My cat ended up developing allergies and they make the tests and treatment for it a lot easier. Claims are quick and there’s no fighting about coverage.
