Straightforward and Easy
This pet insurance does what it says on the tin and quickly. I’ve never had any issues getting a reimbursement for a procedure that was covered, and they tend to reimburse pretty fast. I do wish it were a bit easier to see the funds remaining in a policy cycle, either in the app or in the emails they send authorizing the reimbursements, but that is my only significant critique. I’ve used this insurance for two dogs, one of whom has had very complex medical issues, and I plan to stick with it in the future.

Fast and easy reimbursement.
I followed the straightforward reimbursement process and submitted the receipt for the surgery. I'm pleased to report that within just two weeks, the money was deposited into my bank account. It was such a relief to have the financial aspect taken care of so efficiently.

My experience with Fetch was awesome
My experience with Fetch was awesome. Amanda was a tremendous help to me in choosing what type of pet insurance I wanted. Amanda was pleasant, personable and extremely knowledgeable about the various aspects of coverage. She thoroughly explained the benefits and the associated costs. She definitely “sold” me with FETCH. It would be my preference to always work with Amanda. She is definitely an asset of FETCH.

Bait and Switch on premiums with Embrace
The first year I signed up for Embrace for our 7-year old Maltese, our premiums were $93/month for unlimited annual and lifetime coverage, with a $500 annual deductible and 90% coverage. When it came time to renew for year two, I was notified that my premiums would go up 52% to $141/month for the same coverage. I had to significantly cut our coverage to reduce our policy back to the same $93/month. This felt like a big bait and switch, but we already invested a year in this plan so we opted to continue at the lower coverage level. The customer service agents are friendly and helpful but the company seems set up to provide increasingly fewer benefits for more money over time.

Horrible. Deny claims.
Horrible. Accepted us under insurance and then conveniently wouldn't cover claims because of “pre-existing conditions…” despite being undiagnosed for anything. It would have been nice if they told us this before we paid a large sum of money for multiple months. We recieved 0$ despite clearly meeting our deductible… and oh by the way, all the money we spent on those bills did not EVEN count for the deductible… Anyone having these issues just go to AKC as they are only pet insurance that’ll cover “pre-existing” conditions. This also applies to “pre-existing” conditions that are UNDIAGNOSED. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I don’t usually leave reviews
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt the need to this time because Spot Pet Insurance has been incredible. I’ve had several other pet insurance plans, and there’s just no comparison. Their customer service is excellent, and the turnaround time on claims has never taken more than two days, whereas I’ve waited up to six months with other companies. I have nothing negative to say and I truly hope to continue using them as long as I have my pets.
