A trip to the emergency vet...
We had to go to the emergency vet b/c our dog was attacked by another dog in the neighborhood. We filed the claim and it was processed and completed in 3-4 days. I was very happy!

Franklin made it great
Franklin made it great. He spent time going over many different options for my puppy. I asked A LOT of questions. He patiently answered them all. Now I am satisfied with the options I picked for illness and injuries, and I still have 30 days to review and update my choices! I have used Nationwide (formerly VPI) for about 15 years, and having looked into other companies, I haven't found another as good.

Over 50% Premium Increase After 1 Year and No Reimbursements
I've had 2 dogs on Pumpkin plans for just shy of 1 year. At the time I received their renewal notice for the poicies, I had only filed one claim on one dog that did not exceed the deductible, and zero claims for the 2nd dog. Both dog's policy premiums were going up 53%. I find that ridiculous for the circumstances. They tried to ask me to stay with their generic copy/paste explination from AI Google about how industry costs are rising... etc. I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician who's worked at ER's and GP clinics, as well as both privately owned and corporate owned hospitals. Nothing has changed so drastically in the past 12 months to justify this increase. Especially on customers who haven't been reimbursed for anything the entire year. That's a surefire way to lose business. And that's what happened. I canceled and went back to Nationwide. I hope they don't do that with my cats when it comes time for renewal. It's making me be cautious about getting any new policies with them as well. I have filed another claim since that time and recieved payment in a couple days. I would have kept the policies and given a 5-star review if they had not increased the premiums so drastically without valid justification. I don't have any other experience to report on.

I am very satisfied and happy with the customer service and claims service provided by Pets Best. I have been a member with multiple pets since 2021 and have referred them to many friends and coworkers. They are quick to reply and resolve issues, their claims process is very quick and easy, and their staff are extremely friendly and caring. In addition they have sent me flowers, cards, and memorial gifts for the fur babies I had to lay to rest over the last few years, this personal touch means a lot. Thank you!
