Consistently excellent experience
Having adopted a new rescue dog, I needed but was unfamiliar with pet insurance. My vet recommended that I look at several companies. Ultimately, I chose Pumpkin because of their coverage of dentals, which for small dogs are commonly needed but which can be really expensive. True to their word, they covered the dental needed by the dog without any issues. Other smaller claims have also been handled without a hitch and in a timely fashion. So far, I am very happy with them.

Pets Worst
Pets Best doubled my monthly premium, and then started to no cover coverables items that were already approved in previous claims - they have cut reimbursement by 50% just through micro denials that i then have to appeal and justify. It is heartbreaking enough to have a senior dog facing end-of-life illnesses - it is so much worse having to battle your pet insurers to pay what they promised when you signed up for their highest coverage plan. Pets Best is more like Pets Worst. There are much better pet insurers out there - dont waste your money and well being on Pets Best.
