You have the best representatives employed. However, your policies and reasons behind them are incredibly disappointing. I personally feel the insurance that is offered and what it covers certainly does not work for the best interest of Pet Parents. Insurance is protection and I believe Trupanion has not worked out for us in time of need.

Claims
I always have problems with my claims and you never mention what my problem is. Either I’m missing something or I did something wrong. I only find out what the problem is when I call and question something. The claims department is finally sending me an email even they receive my claim. You make it very difficult to get a refund.

It’s better than nothing
Entering a claim is very easy and I love the app, but the claims consistently get short changed. Even vet visits where the sole purpose and everything with it is to treat my dog’s epilepsy, they somehow find a way to make a loop hole and label it preventative. It’s not worth fighting either. It’s sad that this is the norm in the insurance world, but it is.

Easy and great customer service
I have had other pet insurance plans and MetLife has had the easiest claims process and reimbursement process. I have also contacted Customer Service and they are very helpful and got my questions answered the first contact. I have suggested MetLife pet insurance to several coworkers. It is so easy to submit claims.....
It is so easy to submit claims with this company. Also I could not believe their quick turn-around time from the day I submitted to the day I received direct payment into my bank account......3 days!!!! MetLife is great!
