How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cooke's Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The staff and Dr Cooke are the best. If you want your pets to feel loved and cared for, this is the place to go! They were tender with me in the process of losing my Ollie. Rest In Peace little man.

They're a great vet; friendly and caring. I was worried my dog wouldn't do well in their waiting room (lots of free roaming cats). They listened and worked out a way to get her in and out of the building safely. Prices weren't bad either! We'll definitely be using them again.

Was awesome. My dog is reactive to new people (good with all animals) and they did the check up looked into her nose I love the cats in the lobby and they loved my puppy until she got too excited. The vet tech and the doctor himself were super nice not extremely talkative but got me in and out which is nice too

The vet did a great job making sure my dog didn’t get scared or stressed out. He was quick but thorough when he explained him. I couldn’t have been happier with our visit.

Reached out to secure an appointment for our dog. Cannot speak to anyone on the phone and get sent automated texts saying they are busy. Requesting information over the text resulted in "We are not taking new clients, thank you" Terrible experience.
