I took my "perrito" because his balls were almost becoming skinless from all the dragging, biting & licking. They took him in, interviewed us & wondered why he was so sleepy. I'm like maybe this is exhausting for him, so they gave me a list of costs for shots, diagnostics etc.. I accepted, I left for a few hours until they called me to pick him up. I was happy with the service that they provided, except that a young lady charged me over $44 on a medication that wasn't even in their lab yet she still charged me for it without checking if it was in store. Thankfully my boy's nuts were healing after a few days even when he didn't want to wear that silly cone around his head, crashing everywhere he went because he's short as well & mad because he thought my other dog was making fun of him, so I took it off & told him, "Well let's see how this goes, hope you don't screw up everything after what they did for you." Fortunately everything turned out alright, I didn't give him much medication either because I'm hardly ever home so no time for scheduled prescriptions, but he turned out alright after all. By the following week he already had hair growing on his balls, recuperated well without the medicines & I called back & told them about the $44 overcharge of a different medication that I was charged for that they didn't have & the other young lady just reimbursed it back into my credit card over the phone & apologized for the mishap. I understood the whole time that the previous assistant may have overlooked, or just had many patients to serve. I hope checking their inventory is a priority before charge, is all I'm saying. Now I gotta bring my Perrito in because he's been constipated for days now. Let's see how this goes

Before covid he was amazing g loved his office staff they all cared about the animals so much!!!! Since covid he has changed he or his staff are not friendly anymore and he doesn't care about the animals he cares about the money!!!!! Would not recommend him and will not ever use him again, and we were with him for about 10 years. My dog was having trouble last month with labor, 1 of the puppies was stuck and we couldn't get it out. I knew the emergency fee was $150 to just walk in, boy was I shocked when they told me $1500 just to be in a room and examined by the doctor!!!!!! Wouldn't use him for any reason!!!

Their name is deceiving this is not a low cost place it is $360 to $600 to neuter a male cat that is honestly ridiculous. Bakersfield is notoriously terrible for anyone trying to help the animals but I couldn't walk away without pointing out that their name is false advertising.
