Decent monthly price with good value. The reimbursements come in a short amount of time.
I switched from nationwide to spot as nationwide became far too expensive. They kept going up in their rates so far I’m paying for two dogs. What I was paying for one at nationwide and my coverage is very good and reimbursement, quickly.

WORDS OF ADVICE
My dog Poncho passed away last week. I want to be up front and let everyone know I am not writing this based on grief or emotion. Poncho had fetch pet insurance for 10 years give or take a year@ $55 per month. I took him to the emergency vet two days before he passed and was billed $755 - my deductible from fetch was $500 with a 70 % copay. I filed a claim and was rewarded $21. I don’t understand how I paid $55 a month for ten years which is over $6000 in total and fetch calculated my copy first before my deductible. WORDS OF ADVISE- read the fine print- pet insurance is not worth it. In respond to fetch- why is the copay administered before the deductible? Also, I was informed that I have an automatic $500 deductible every time my policy renewed? Like I said above- fetch pet insurance is a waste of money. You’re better off getting an interest free credit card. Hindsight is 20/20- I trusted fetch to aid in my payments. I feel I have been penalized because my dog wasn’t sick multiple times in one year or sick for a long period of time. I understand the point of insurance but charging a copay first before taking out the deductible does not benefit the consumer at all.

Easy set up and pay
Easy set up and pay. Only wishing there was a 6 month pay button verses monthly, but otherwise loving the sign up process.

New Policy Holders
We were looking for comprehensive coverage for or two dogs. We are very pleased with the coverage, attention to our needs, and when reaching out, staff were very cordial and listened.

Trupanion has wonderful coverage and compassionate employees
Trupanion covers my cat's needs fairly and compassionately. They are there 24/7; even when I had an emergency vet visit with my cat on a Sunday they were there for me. I thank them for their care and compassion.

Save your money
Classic insurance company Deductible expensive enough to disinsentive you from using insurance unless major claims. Won't cover existing medical conditions but will charge you the same as some one covered for everything. My personal story is my daschound had a back surgery before policy, another one 3 years into the policy which I knew wasn't covered and paid out of pocket, sadly back went out again a couple years later. We decided it wouldn't be fair to put him through another at his age. The first claim I made in 6 years of having a policy was for euthanasia which should be covered.. ...but guess what nope not even that would be approved because of the reason having to do with a back injury. 6 years with only increasing premiums just to get denied for that. Never deal with them again
