Lucy has medical insurance
We got Lucy at the age of 1 we then insured her with Trupanion.
In September she turns 12. For all those years we have never had an issue with this company. The team at Trupanion are wonderful, the reimbursements are quick and accurate. We are so grateful to have medical insurance for her.

Trupanion, the way to go
The online claims process was so easy. No hassle just submit your forms and as they tell you just leave the rest to them and they will take it from there. Submitted claim on a Monday and my claim was processed the next day and funds were in my account the following day.

First time Pet insurance user
I was a little apprehensive getting pet insurance. I've had pets in the past but never insurance. My friend recommended it and I told myself I would atleast have pet insurance until after my puppy had grown up and been spayed.
I had pet insurance for almost a year, not using it. But when I finally got my Labrador spayed, she had an inflamed spay site. And I found out the laser treatment was covered even though it was from her spay, which wasn't.
After her antibiotics, she had a GI upset. When it was treated, my dog had a horrible reaction and ended up in the doggy hospital, lots of testing, including suspected Addison's disease. Trupanion covered everything with my %100 deductible. She's still getting tested and we don't know what cause her horrible episode, be it medication or Addison's disease, but I know Trupanion will be there for her.

You just never know when u might need it
We have 2 Boston terriers and this ins has allowed us to give them the best care possible especially when the unexpected things occur like a negligent vet causes your pup to need emergency surgery extracting 10 teeth and graft part of her jaw..I will never own a dog again without insurance worth every penny!!
