Life saving pet insurance
Without insurance coverage would not have been able to have the necessary studies to show treatment was available for my older pet.

If you own a pet, you must have Pet Insurance!
I adopted a puppy during the 2020 Quarantine. My vet recommended the benefits of Pet Insurance and I researched and found Trupanion and realized budgeting this cost into my monthly expenses was going to help with Vet bills for my new puppy in the event of injury. Everything had gone well, until my playful 1 1/2 old puppy hurt his leg. I did not hesitate to take him to the Vet, knowing I had him protected with insurance. His first day at the Vet was an expensive trip due to testing that needed to be done. I had Trupanion pet insurance and before the end of the day, they had contacted me to let me know I had my expenses covered! My monthly cost is well worth the expense and minimal compared to what they saved a potential out of pocket cost today. If you own a pet, you need Trupanion pet coverage! Today illustrated exactly why I bought the policy!

Fast, efficient, reliable
It's fast and easy to submit a claim. They respond pretty quickly, and as long as the claim is within the covered items (and they're pretty clear about what is and isn't) they're quick to reimburse. they've reimbursed my 90% for two knee surgeries in the last 18 months. Takes so much stress away from making health decisions for my dog.

Excellent customer service.
Excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my dog has had a lot of health issues and Trupanion has paid every eligible claim in a timely manner and the process was quick and simple.
