Best of the best
Our little jack Russell Mystery could hardly breathe. Her allergies were soooo bad. On hot days she could hardly move it was that bad. It turned out she had rhinitis and with some pills she could live a happy normal life again, even in the heat of summer. She had to get a lot of tests to find this diagnosis in her nose. We would have paid any amount of money to help end her suffering, it cost us about $1500 and thanks to healthy paws we got over $1300 back. The speed and customer service of this company is the best we've ever seen. They keep you constantly updated and show a genuine interest in the well being of your pet. They even asked for some pics of our animals which was a nice touch. We thoroughly recommend healthy paws to anyone who will listen. These guys are a credit to their profession and we know they will always be there by our side to help with our pets. Thank you healthy paws.

Very satisfied with Trupanion
I have 3 pets-2 10 year old cats and 1 7 year old dog, a Yorkshire Terrier, Samson. Samson became ill with Pancreatitis and required hospitalization and numerous treatments that were very expensive. Thanks to Trupanion, Samson is much better. They were very supportive and very quick to complete the claims. There were no hidden obstacles or ambiguous language in the policy as I previously experienced with other insurance companies. They practice what they preach - and I would recommend them without any hesitation.

Total Scam Don't Get this Insurance
My dogs have been covered by ASPCA for years and the first time I filed a claim last fall it was denied because the date of the injury was 3 weeks before my policy renewed and by the time the Vet recommended the MRI and surgery, we had moved into this year's policy. Since the injury began just before my policy renewed, it was completely denied and I'm $1,000's of dollars in the hole. We would never have made the decision to have the MRI if we didn't think we were covered by insurance. When I called ASPCA before the MRI, they told me they couldn't guarantee coverage, that we just had to have it done then submit it. They didn't warn me that if the injury happened prior to the annual payment date, it wouldn't be covered. Don't use this company!!! They took my money for years and then didn't come through.

Excellent service
I have paid into the insurance for a year and a half and I hoped to never need it but when my dog woke up limping one morning I was very worried, took her to the vet and of course they had to X-ray her and investigate the cause, there were a couple of issues but fortunately it was nothing serious, she had actually injured her paw pad, but after the expense of the visit I was very happy that I had insurance and could rest assure that whatever the issue was, my little baby was covered and would be safe. For a first time experience having to make a claim, Trupanion actually paid me my money much faster than even they initially said it would take for a first time claim since they had to get her medical records which is something they only have to do once, with your first claim. I received the exact amount, covering her meds, her X-rays and everything except the visit, which I already knew was not covered. The service was excellent and I would recommend this company to all my friends! Thanks Trupanion, for doing what you promise you will in times of need!

COLE IS A 13 YEAR OLD DOMESTIC LONG HAIR THAT DEVELOPED HEMOBARTONELLA IN MARCH OF 2011 HIS CLAMS HAVE BEEN PAID PROMPT AND WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO PURCHASE THIS INSURANCE

Embrace was recommended to me by a food friend of mine, who is also a vet. I have been very impressed with Embrace, mostly because I deal with actual people who email me with explanations. If I email back with a question, they answer it. Real people, not departments, not passing the buck, not a telephone service with prompts. What a novel idea!

Good, but one mistake
Good and quick service but there was an oversight when getting the claim that resulted in not getting compensated enough. However, it wads taken care of when brought to their attention.
