Great Service

Getting coverage with Healthy Paws was an excellent decision! I have 1 dog, and 2 cats, all covered through them. Not only does it give me peace of mind to know my fur-babies will be taken care of in the event of injury or sickness, but I can do so at an affordable price. When one of my cats had to go to the ER recently, I was devastated. After all was said and done, I was able to submit a claim for reimbursement, which was reviewed in a timely manner. They provided step by step updates so I knew the status of my claim and I was able to check the process via their website/app. Once approved, I received the check quickly and they even followed up to see how my little guy was feeling! They are very caring and responsive. The guidelines of the policy are also laid out so the policy owner knows and understands what is covered and what is not. I am very pleased with policy options available/monthly rate, the coverage itself, and my experience with the customer care team.

Easy & Fast reimbursement

Recently, my pup had to get surgery to remove a foreign body. Making claims is sooo easy and they are always quick to get me reimbursed. Which was awesome because it was a pricey vet bill this time around. Only recommendation I have is the sooner you get your insurance the better.

I have a new policy and also purchased…

I have a new policy and also purchased the Best Wellness plan. I submitted my claim for a wellness appointment that also included vaccines. The claim was processed in 3 days. I am waiting for the reimbursement to be added to my banking account. The next day I had to submit a sick claim. It's only been 3 days. I am waiting to hear on that claim

Best Insurance

This insurance is quite pricey but well worth the money. I can make the claim on my phone in less than 5 minutes and will have my money within a week. They have approved all of my claims from emergency visits, surgeries and therapy. It gives me peace of mind knowing I have Nationwide for Lucy.

Relieved that Nationwide was there

My dog made several trips to the vet this year unfortunately ie. Allergies, sprained foot Once I paid my deductible, nationwide paid the rest of my bills without question. Speedy reimbursement (within a few days) was a bonus!!

poor customer service.

Their customer service is really hit or miss and when it misses it’s just about as bad as it gets. I was a customer for 4 years have recently been corresponding with a customer service rep for the past month. He is slow to respond, doesn’t answer any of my questions, doesn’t follow up, about half of his responses are clearly standard copy, shows no empathy and is just generally not willing to help. I also called their help line and the people were friendly and helpful, but gave incorrect information and they too didn’t follow up with a response when they had said they would. There were many, many ways to come to the eventual resolution and I really wish the customer service rep had taken one that was customer service oriented. I wouldn’t recommend their service based on this experience. My account number was 310230-1.
