BUNCH OF CROOKS
Stay away from this insurance company! My dog was itching and scratching quite a bit, and I took him immediately to the vet to see what was wrong. The vet assumed it was either anxiety or allergies, but with his persistent scratching over time, she said it was allergies. Here I am about a year later, trying every treatment possible, I scheduled to have an allergy test for my dog. I spoke with Trupanion, and they said they are pretty sure my dog's test will be covered. 3 days later, no response from Trupanion, they said they've contacted me several times. Lies! They lied to me, and they won't cover the test. Secondly, while my dog continues to scratch, he also scratches his eyes. So I took him to the vet again to have them look at this eye and noticed it was a little cloudy and suggested I took him to the specialist. The specialist diagnosed him with cataracts. CLAIM DENIED AGAIN. Being fed up with paying monthly premiums and no payout, I called to cancel my policy. The lady on phone rambles on about how my dog is bad luck and he will continue to have problems. She told me I needed Trupanion (WHO NEVER PAYS ANYTHING OUT AND DENIES EVERY SINGLE CLAIM!) STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURANCE, THEY'RE CROOKS! OUT TO GET YOUR MONEY!!!

ASPCA pet insurance is a life saver !
Since having ASPCA insurance, my precious little Maltese, Marily, has undergone ACL surgery, eye surgeries, and most recently anal gland removal. I really don't know how I would have afforded it all without the insurance. Marilyn is like my own child and just knowing I have ASPCA insurance gives me comfort and peace because I know I have help in keeping her healthy. I have been very pleased with the efficiency and speed in receiving a check after my claims have been filed. Furthermore, the representatives I have spoken with have been knowledgeable and very polite. ASPCA insurance has been one of the best things I have ever done for my little Marilyn....and for me.

Glad I had pet insurance for Chloe
My beagle, Chloe, was bitten by a large dog while we were out walking. Chloe was on her leash when the other dog broke out of his yard, ran across the street and bit her. The result was 2 rather deep puncture wounds. The vet had to sedate her, shave and clean the wounds, culture them and give us a prescription for an antibiotic. I was so glad that I had your insurance and did not stress about the cost of her care. The owner of the other dog was also glad to hear about my insurance because she immediately offered to pay Chloe's vet bill.

It really pays!
My 40 lb lab-mix Pepper has been under Embrace insurance ever since she was 4 months old. This past month showed me just how much it was worth it. Just a few days shy of her 3rd birthday, she had been attacked by a giant American bulldog and needed to get $886 worth of vet care after the x-rays, anesthesia, medication and stitches. When I sent the claim, I personally was not expecting more than half the amount (at best) for the reimbursement. Embrace sent me $745 back! I ended up paying only about $140 in total! Embrace has always been good to us in their wellness plan, but their care and service during this time has shown that us that they truly care for us during the bad times as well as the good. Count me in as a loyal client for life!

Don't trust them because of the ASPCA name
I enrolled in this insurance a few years ago. When my cat finally got sick, they denied most of the claim. They are NOT a part of the ASPCA and the only reason they are doing well at all is because they are using their affiliation with the ASPCA to build their reputation. They are not a great insurance, Im switching to Trupanion when my plan is up. I hope the ASPCA doesnt get a bad reputation because of them!

Matti and Sammie
I am very happy using ASCPA Pet Insurance. I truly believe it is for major not day to day costs. In past my Mandy had a ruptured spleen ,having insurance would have been much better than $3500 out of pocket. I am currently experiencing eye problems w my Matti and insurance is my easier.

BUY IT
After an initial bad experience with my first claim (confusion over the fact that I see several vets due to my rural location), we finally cleared things up and it has been smooth sailing ever since. It is SO easy to file a claim, and they are very quick to come to a decision and send a check. I've had very little issue with what they have decided to cover and what they have not. I have a holistic vet and so many of my expenses are supplements and not medicine - they won't cover that, and that is not surprising. I wish my own health insurance was this easy to deal with, and provided good coverage. Very good customer service which is hard to find these days.

New onset heart murmur
My 18 month old kitten began running a fever so I took her to my vet for a check up. My Vet hear a heart murmur that had not been there 2 weeks prior when Lucy had a check up and shots. She put Lucy on antibiotics for a week and had me bring her back in 5 days hoping Lucy was dehydrated and that was what was causing the murmur. We went back for the recheck and the murmur was still present so my Vet sent me to a specialty hospital to a cardiologist for further testing and she found Lucy has Aortic Stenosis. Needless to say I was devastated at the diagnosis but relieved to have Embrace and hoped everything would be covered. Now I have to say, I have had Embrace now for a little over two years and was debating on whether or not I would keep it. I adopted a kitten in the summer of 2009 and researched pet insurance, I have had pets all my life but had been told for the most part pet insurance is a waste of money. Embrace by far had the most positive reviews so I decided to try it. Within, I believe, 2 months of adopting my kitten she became ill and was hospitalized. A few months later she again became ill and was hospitalized. The total bill was around $1100.00. Although Embrace did give me a little bit of a hard time, my Vet had to call them, they did pay both claims after speaking with my Vet and I was extremely pleased. The only issue I had is they made me have an expensive test done on my kitten before they would keep her on the insurance. Last year neither of my
