The Best Insurance for my son - Buddy
After a very detailed search, we decided to go with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. And we are super happy that we did it.Six months ago, Buddy was hospitalized after he collapsed. Then later, he diagnosed with DCM ( dilated cardiomyopathy). During this stressful times, it is great to know that at least we do not need to worry about his vet bills. Our claims were settled within a week. Customer service is very professional , very personal and very caring. It is very very impressive how they care about our little paws. Many Thanks to Healthy Paws. Don't Hesitate... Choose the Healthy Paws... You will not Regret .....

Quick Reimbursements
I just recently insured my french bulldog with Embrace. I submitted my first claim for a wellness visit this morning, and less than 5 hours later have received notification that the claim has been processed and my check is being sent out. I'm very pleased with the response time!

Total Scam
3 years ago our dog had begun to lick and chew on her tail. We eventually had to have it amputated. This claim was covered by ASPCA. It took several months to receive a check. The claim was $950 and ASPCA gave us $400 back- not so bad. After her surgery she healed and was fine for over a year. 2 year later she began to chew on the tail again. We battled with this second issue for over a year. The doctors didn't want to amputate it again and instead kept prescribing medicines to help with nerve pain. Our dog finally became so fixated on her tail at one point that we took her to the ER vet and they proceeded with amputating her tail a second time. Our claim ended up reaching over $4000 for the year+ that we spent taking our dog to the vet and for the surgery. ASPCA looked at the claim as a pre-existing condition and denied the claim. In their policy they state that 180 days constitutes as a waiting period in between injuries, however, they kept suggesting that our dog was never "cured and clear" of the injury. They hold all of our medical records directly from the doctor that show no indication of our dog being seen for anything other then a regular check up. I put in an appeal for the claim and received a letter with new excuses for denial. One, being that the claim was not submitted in a reasonable amount of time since the start of the incident. If we were battling the incident for over a year, then what do they expect? We submitted the claim immediately

So far, so great
I'd been covering my two cats with another popular pet insurance product. The other company really made my angry one day (and not for the first time) when they refused to expand and offer cancer coverage to one of my cats even though Willow was under the cut off age for their cancer rider. I was ready to pay extra, but they wouldn't take my money. This is what lead me to change her over to Embrace. The older cat is still on the old plan because he's old. But it gives me a good chance to compare the two plans. So far, the reimbursement for a Wellness visit is about $30 more than I get from the other plan. The customer service has been great. Very proactive and friendly. I feel very pleased about my choice, so far. I'm paying a little more per month for Embrace, but I would have had to do that if I'd been able to get the cancer rider.

My Great Dane puppy Kayos & his experience
Kayos a Great Dane puppy had an everted third eyelid. He was scheduled for surgery m2 days later, trupanion worked with me to get the preapproval done. He had his surgery and about 8 days after submitting the claim I received my reimbursement check. My first experience with pet insurance and in hindsight everything went pretty smooth. Kayos's eye has healed and he no longer has to wear the cone of shame. He is back to his happy healthy self. He is such a marmaduke. Thank you Trupanion for your patience and help during this stressful time.

Best decision I ever made
When Mr. Utley - my Golden was a puppy I debated whether or not to get insurance. After doing a great deal of research, comparing the different companies that offered insurance, I decided to go with Embrace - based on all of the favorable reviews I had read about them. Over the last five years, I've been lucky enough to never have really needed the insurance - only had a couple of sore pad issues. I used to kid that my dog has better health insurance than me and people told me I was crazy to spend the money. But I knew that there was no price tag you can put on piece of mind - knowing that, if God forbid something bad happened to my guy, I would never have to decide on the future of my dog's health based on a cost analysis. Mr. Utley was just diagnosed with cancer and as difficult as it was to hear the diagnosis, the one thing I didn't have to think about was how could I afford to help him. When sitting with the oncologist discussing his treatment options, it was reassuring to know that I could afford to give him the best care available because I have GREAT insurance. We have just started his treatments and Embrace has made dealing with this illness as bearable as possible. I don't have to worry about the financial aspect and can just focus on making my guy better. Every time I meet someone who just bought a puppy I urge them to get Embrace Insurance. Like I said in my title, it was the best decision I ever made.

Great choice of Insurance-wish it had more coverag
I have had ASPCA for 4 yrs now and though I have had few incidents, I really wish it covered more because on those few incidents I had - ASPCA didn't cover as much as I would have needed. Beyond all that, ASPCA is very easy to use, file claims, and has great customer service. It's reasonably priced. The customer service is really good and everyone is knowledgable and pleasant on the phone.
