I didn't really have to do anything myself. My veterinarian's office sent in the claim. Trupanion let me know when they received the claim, what the outcome was, and whether or not I would receive any benefits. Thank you.

Never iwn a dog without insurance. You may regret it as your dogs age. We learned the hard way. Never again
Vet recommended. We did not have insurance when our 4 dogs were young. At 14 we lost 3 dogs last year. Prev years were at least 50m in vet bills. Just got a new rescue puppy. That day bought insurance!! I never thought of pet insurance 14 years ago. Never again! Our dogs are family and we will pay whatever it takes for them without regret. It is just insane not to get insurance. You may not use it for years but I can tell you if you don’t get it while they are young you WILL regret it when they are older. Don’t cancel it because you don’t need it. Unfortunately the day will come you will need it. That is my experience
