Healthy Paws is a life saver!
Healthy Paws = peace of mind. My dog has always had various tummy issues and I can feel secure knowing that I can get her the care she needs and I'm covered. Healthy Paws is also super easy to use and submit claims with. Recommend highly!
Our wonderful pup, Bean, has struggled mightily with health issues since she we got her at 8 weeks. Both the normal illnesses that dogs struggle with, ear infections, etc. but about 2 years ago she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that took both her eyes at the very young age of 3.5. Without our Healthy Paws insurance I don’t know if we couldn’t given her the best treatment. Today she is the happiest, most resilient puppy around and we owe such a debt to Healthy Paws. In addition, the process for reimbursement is so easy and fast I often ask myself why human medical insurance isn’t as easy.!

Thank goodness I got insurance for my puppy as soon as I brought him home! You just never know what life brings you, my puppy was seven months old when he got really sick from an inflamed lymph node. The bill added up so quickly in three days I had already accumulated over $8000, I was able to begin the claim as soon as he was admitted and the ease of communication with Lemonade was bar none and they were also able to communicate directly with The hospital my little guy was staying at. I could not be more grateful for them and their understanding during that hard time, the last thing I wanted to deal with was insurance but the ease made it so much easier! Please, please, please get insurance for your pet.

Very excellent service! I got two phone calls from them right after I submit a claim, it makes me feel I'm important. My first claim was missing the closed invoice becuase emergenct vet did not give me. The contact centre guy just effiently call them and I actualy didn't do anything else to complete the profile/claim. He really done it above and beyond my expectation!
If you are on the fence about insurance for your pets DO IT!! Your pets WILL age and WILL have accidents. Do not be in a position where you have to make a terrible choice about saving your pet’s life. Trupanion has saved us so much money on our pets and they make it so easy with their software that is available for most vets and specialists. The rates are fair and the coverage is excellent. The reps are always so helpful and kind.. and the refund comes promptly. Getting my pets insured as puppies was the best decision we ever made.
Piper was diagnosed with several mast cell tumours that had to be removed as soon as the veterinarian could get her in for the best result. We chatted with a customer service rep online and she walked us through eligibility, the forms, pre-approval and all the steps needed. Once preapproval was complete, which took no time at all, we were also informed of the steps once the actual surgery was done. We took Piper home on Monday, the day of surgery, submitted our claim on Tuesday and less that 24 hours later, the payment was approved and headed to us. I wish all insurance companies were as clear, quick and responsive. We still have results to receive and hopefully no further treatment or surgery, but are thankful for the respect, care and attention we received. It is not easy to watch your loved pet go through difficult times, pain and discomfort, but at least this process was painless and provided exactly what was expected from this first claim. We have been policyholders for 6 years and have not needed anything. You never really want to need the service, but when you do, it's good to know that Trupanion was there.
