Embrace has been super easy to work…
Embrace has been super easy to work with I have had their medical insurance for my now 3 1/2 year old Pomeranian since the dog was 8 weeks old I have also had their wellness insurance that covers veterinary visits for routine visits I have filed claims a few times and have always been informed of the claim status and once approved payments were quickly issued The customer service agents are very helpful and either answer my questions or direct me to someone who can EMBRACE is a quality organization that cares for the insured and maintains an open line of communication

I have owned many dogs in my life but…
I have owned many dogs in my life but never had pet insurance. I recently got a puppy and training her for therapy work. Trupanion was recommended by many of my friends and thought I would give it a try. It was an easy and pleasant experience. I spoke with Aaron and he was so informative answering every question I asked and I had many questions. If you are on the fence about spending the money for peace of mind call and speak with a representative who will put your mind at ease

Wellness portion of policy not worth it
The amount covered is so small compared to the amount I have to pay for wellness care to make this part of the policy not worth it. Considering looking for a different provider or none at all if you're all like this.

Significant premium increase every year
I have 3 pets using Trupanion. What’s frustrating is the significant premium increase every year. They claim it’s due to increases in medical care across the board and so every member needs to pay more. I wish it was based more on an individual basis and claims submitted. The blanket increase seems unfair. For one dog it’s going up $20 per month even though I’ve never submitted a claim for her. UPDATE in response to Trupanion reply: While I appreciate that you say this, that’s not been my experience. For all people that read this review see below the latest monthly change in my premium. The year it doesn’t go up I’ll be sure to update my review. Pet #1- $74.75 to $101.25 Pet #2- $70.04 to $89.41 Pet #3- $75.74 to $85.09

It Only a few drawbackswas easy to apply with Nationwide…
It was easy to apply with Nationwide Pet Insurance. The only hiccup was one ear infection in two 1/2 years. Also I love to burn candles and I found out our pets can’t tolerate it. Now we no longer burn candles. Hiccup #2 , they won’t carry GRACI on any future skin issues.
