Wonderful Pet Insurance
I have had my doggie insured through Trupanion for five years. Each time I've needed to submit a claim, I have received reimbursement within a week. It's a very simple process and they have very nice staff. Knowing that I have insurance for my dog is such peace of mind; I know that no matter what I can always ensure she has the best care and access to medical treatments if ever necessary. I'm grateful for Trupanion's excellent business offerings and service.

submitted claim(s) for 4 dates of service on 2/4 and received claim updates almost daily with payment confirmation by 2/12. Although they missed one claim date in all the paperwork. They even covered prescription food for the first 2 months!

Supportive and Fast
My cat had to have surgery after eating a jacket string. The cost of the surgery was over $4,000. Healthy paws walked me through my first claim. It was easy to do and fast. Each staff member I talked to was genuinely concerned for our cat and showed their love for animals. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance to anyone that has animals.

, I receive a response pretty instantaneously. I talked with many people who have pet insurance with different companies and I have never found someone who can only say positive things about the company they go through. Where as for me, I can not say anything negative! I'm thankful for Healthy Paws every day, as there is no way I could still have my Wesley if it were not for them.

The best in any town VPI Pet Insurance
I have been a VPI member for over 20 years. All of my pets past and present have had/still using VPI pet insurance. I have been to the other pet insurance websites and compared the different rates but none compare to the prompness, and quality care that I get from VPI. Filing a claim is fast and easy. You can go online to their website and find the status of your claim. As long as I have my pet dogs I will always use VPI pet insurance.

Beware pre-existing condition exaggeration
My dog was treated 3 years ago for anxiety due to dental surgery. Now, my dog has IBD (irritable bowel disease) and is in a lot of pain and distress. Vet prescribed anti-anxiety meds, but Pets Best declined coverage because of a "pre-existing condition." There is no relation between dental surgery 3 years ago and a chronic bowel disease. Will not insure another pet with this company.

My Pet Had Cancer Surgery
My 13 year old dog developed an Anal Sacc Tumor which her vet caught very early. The next week she underwent surgery to remove it. She came through with flying colors and Truoanion paid more than $2100 on the $2700 bill, less the deductible and other expenses not related. I was amazed at how swiftly they handled this..it's my first experience with pet insurance ever-should have had Trupanion years ago!
