Embrace was there for us!
I've had Embrace pet insurance for my little rescue dog for a couple of years, and I highly recommend this company. I researched a number of pet insurance companies and compared coverages, deductibles, user reviews, everything. Although I hoped that I'd never have to file a claim, I wanted to feel confident that if I did need to file a claim that I would be working with a company that would be there for my little fur-baby and me. Nearly two years into our policy, I filed claims related to two different situations. Embrace has an extremely thorough process for reviewing a pet's history after the first claim is filed. That process was the only part of the experience with Embrace that I think can be improved. They requested a lot of medical documents from the various veterinary providers who had seen my fur-baby. Some of those requests went to the wrong email address, which delayed the process. And although I uploaded quite a few medical documents via the portal, they didn't seem to be receiving those documents, which further delayed the process. After about two months, an adjuster reached out directly to me, I emailed all the requested documents directly to her, and a couple of days later, Embrace gave me the great news that they approved everything! I know a number of people with pets who think pet insurance is expensive and not worth buying. Yet, some of those same people complain that when their pets became ill they had to spend thousands of dollars on vet bills. Based on my experience and policy, having Embrace pet insurance is a great value and a small price to pay for my beloved fur-baby's good health and my peace of mind. I have been a loyal Healthy Paws…
I have been a loyal Healthy Paws customer for 7 years, but I can no longer recommend them. When I first signed up, my premium was $23.94/month for the best coverage—now, despite adjusting my deductible and reimbursement level to lower costs, my premium has skyrocketed with no real explanation. On top of that, my recent claim was denied unfairly, miscategorizing necessary bloodwork as "wellness/preventative care," even though it was for a diagnosed condition. I’ve had to fight for every bit of coverage lately, which was never the case before. Their service has drastically changed. They know long-term customers with pets who have preexisting conditions can’t switch providers easily, and they’re taking full advantage of that. If you’re considering this insurance, think twice! What starts off affordable quickly becomes overpriced and unreliable. I’m extremely disappointed

Embrace has saved my dog's life- or at least has given us over another year with him, covering his chemo treatments throughout his lymphoma diagnosis, through remission and coming out of it, they have been so fast and reliable we haven't hesitated to do everything in our power to make sure he has had the right treatment at the right time and is comfortable as possible. We can't recommend them enough <3

Adjusters don't read attached documents…
Adjusters don't read attached documents or notes. This is the second claim where the adjuster failed to thoroughly read attached documents and associated notes. Because of this they have denied a claim because the claim system didn't have a matching diagnosis in the subject pull down menu and only paid 50% of the submitted items on a second. I wish I had researched this company better before purchasing policies.

Pawsome service for my limping dog!
My 8-year-old Havanese (aka "circus dog" – always jumping) lived life on easy mode… until last year. First, he got Lyme disease, then a mystery limp. Vet ran all the tests, found nothing, but the bills sure found me. Healthy Paws covered its share in a few weeks - which is reasonable given that this was his first insurance claim. Then, the orthopedist discovered that he had an ACL tear. Surgery needed ASAP. The bill? Yikes. Healthy Paws? BOOM – claim paid in 3 days! Faster than my dog can steal a treat. Pawsome service! Keep up the great work, Healthy Paws! 3 slobbery kisses from my pup! 🐶
