Way better than my last company
I cannot speak highly enough of Embrace Pet Insurance...and their staff. We've carried pet insurance on our dogs since 1990. Back then, there was only one pet insurance company...one did not have a choice. We do now! Our dogs issues have included pancreatitis, estrogen toxicity, embedded foxtail, cysts, and canine alopecia. Have one scheduled for dental work (broken tooth) and lump removal next month. As soon as they receive the claim, they notify me and it's easy to check on the claim process. Once our deductible was met (which didn't take long) - the reimbursement check from Embrace doesn't take more than a couple of weeks. Timely and courteous service.

Excellent service
I am so pleased with my policy with Trupanion! Having the insurance coverage has made it possible for me to ensure quality of life for my pet. Due to allergies my Springer Spaniel, Winston, has severe dermatitis issues. Thank goodness for the coverage and the great service we have received from Trupanion!

Disappointed in Dental Coverage
I submitted a claim for my dog for dental treatment. She had 6 teeth removed, cleaning and a lump in her mouth biopsied. The bill was $3,200.00 I understood that on her plan she has $600.00 for dentistry but I didn't think that a lump on her gums would be considered part of this $600.00 claim. According to the person on the phone it is! I don't understand this. If my dog had a lump on her back it would be covered but because it's in her mouth it's only covered up to the $600.00. I'm disappointed. I also think they should supply a booklet outlining in detail what is covered and what is not covered. As pet owners we only get a very simplified version on line without a detailed booklet to refer to.

Very quick service
I hadn't had the insurance but maybe 2 months when my pug, Sunny, swallowed some bones and the vet had to induce vomiting. The claim was processed very quickly and a follow up call was placed to me to ask how Sunny was doing which impressed me very much. My own insurance company doesn't do that! Very pleased so far with this insurance.

Premiums are expensive
I think the company does a good job and pays without too much hassle but their premium increases this year seem steep so I'm cancelling. A 3 year old dog went from $278.03 to $332.47 a year and a 1 year old dog went from $473.31 to $409.34 a year. Both have $200 deductibles & 10% co-pay plans. I will save the $68.64 a month for an emergency.

Easy process, excellent support and paid promptly!
Out of nowhere our dog Gracie developed disc disease which caused excruciating pain. It was a Sunday so we had to go to our nearest emergency hospital. They did an x-ray and their diagnosis turned out to be right but they they did bloodwork to rule out a tickborne illness. They gave us pain meds, recommended strict crate rest and told to watch for neurological signs. That visit was close to $1,000.00 Sure enough within days she started doing this weird cross-leg walking so we went directly to our vet who said it's either surgery or euthanasia. We then rushed to a facility where she could have the surgery. The neurosurgeon went over the cost - more than 5,000.00 - and we were able to say yes without second thought because we had insurance. When we told them it was Embrace they literally clapped! She had an MRI, surgery and a few days of hospital care. I submitted claims to Embrace and am getting reimbursed as promised without a single road block. If only human insurance could be as good!

Couldn't be happier
After my 4 year old lab had a bad infection in his nose. His vet told us to get pet insurance. I have a 2 year old chihuahua as well. Both of them have gotten into trouble and ASPCA was there to save the day! I've received personal phone calls checking up on them, I have always spoken to a person when I have called in, I have always gotten my reimbursements within two weeks, AND they send me hand written cards! Which I love I'm not going to lie. I couldn't be happier with the way ASPCA helps me and my pets in our time of need.

We are so thankful for Embrace Pet Insurance
Taz is a two year old German Shepherd Dog. She is THE best dog ever! But German Shepherds often have health related issues and Taz is not exempt from them, unfortunately. But fortunately, I discovered Embrace Pet Insurance a few years ago and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a pet. It has saved us thousands of dollars in expensive treatments for poisoning (digesting a toxic plant), GI problems, etc. But I also enjoy the benefits of the Wellness plan to cover special dog food and routine pet medications and spaying, teeth cleaning, etc. I am truly thankful for Embrace and will continue my relationship with then throughout Taz's life!

Endorsement
Excellent. Always responsive. Love newsletter. Heidi, as puppy, ate everything. When an obstruction occurred Embrace was on the case. I was reimbursed for almost 70% of ER bills, operation, and follow-up calls. Thank you Embrace.
