Leaving you!!!
Your increase of $100 PER QUARTER is abusive, insulting and insane!!!!! You are supposed to be helping people give their pets the best option, NOT taking all their money just in case they my possibly make a claim sometime in the future!! Your obscene increase is selfish and just used to increase the profit of some on the backs of those of us who love our pets. You're no different than the funeral industry! I am looking at some other reviews and many of us are saying the same thing. HEAR US OR GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! Believe me, in this day and hard times, you will be the first luxury to be cancelled if we have to choose between that or gas, food, home insurance, car payment, almost anything because the increase is just not affordable! I NEVER had a serious claim other than the wellness checks. JUSTIFY THE OBSENE INCREASE!! Not that you care, not only am I canceling, but 8 other people, so far, have cancelled policies with you because of this and I am not done spreading the word yet. As someone who works with a lot of people with animals, I have stopped referring them to you. Again, not that you care.

Peace of Mind
I am the proud momma of an all black DSH two year old cat. My husband, five year old twins(at the time) and myself adopted Toby from a local shelter. We showered him with toys, play time and lots of love from Day 1. We quickly realized though, that as much as we spent all our free time on being with him and learning to care for him, Toby liked to eat things he shouldn't. This past September, We woke up one morning and Toby had gotten sick through the night. Long to short, after several doctor visits and test, we learned that Toby had eaten a toy and was in need of surgery. Unfortunately, we had not begun our policy yet. After that experience, we knew that we had a little fireball on our hands and we needed peace of mind. Fortunately, Toby did very well and came through with flying colors. He recouped from his surgery and is doing very well. As diligent as we are, we have had two other scares where we were afraid he ate something. Fortunately, he hadn't but knowing that we had the insurance company to help us and support us was a relief. They took care of his medical bills and even called to make sure we were happy with our coverage and if they could have done more for us. Thank you ASPCA for allowing us to take such good care of our fur-baby!

Bad- pre-existing conditions for every claim.
My dog had diarrhea when she was a 3 month old puppy, was put on meds and recovered. I decided to get the AKC pet insurance later on when she was 7months old. When she was 11 months old she tore up her plastic crate and ate some of it. I took her in because I was concerned about her and she started to not eat her food as well as she did in the past. I had multiple tests run to make sure none of the plastic peices were stuck in her digestive system. It ended up just being upset tummy due to the plastic and she recovered with just being on some Pepcid. When I submitted my claim, I received an EOB saying it was a pre-existing condition. I called to figure out what they were talking about because it was certainly not pre-existing, it was an acute occurrence- she ate her crate which gave her gastritis!!! The representative told me that because she had been seen for gastric problems in the past, that it was a pre-existing condition. Basically any problem that your dog has ever been seen for in the past (before getting the coverage) will not be covered in the future even if it is totally unrelated in the cause. She said I could go back to the vet and fill out forms to re-evaluate, but I just decided to cancel the coverage. I could tell by the way things were headed that everything would be pre-existing if they had EVER been seen for any past problem, even if it had been 6+ months since the dog had been to the vet, had fully recovered, and the new incident was totally unrelated. I would not recommend this insurance. Get a savings account and put money in it each month- you'll be FAR BETTER OFF. People don't have time to argue and fill out more forms and re-submit. It also took about a month for them to process the claim I submitted. It isn't worth the hassle!

Fast Support In A Crisis ☺️
When our elderly family dog, Daisy, became acutely disabled with pneumonia, Healthy Paws was there working with the emergency Vet hospital, reviewing records and covering the claim. We did the entire process via the iPhone app and the fax at the Vet, making it go quick and easy. We were reimbursed within a week, and they even covered the special medication from the compound pharmacy!

I will always use Pets Best Pet Insurance
My dog got very sick after ingesting Xylitol, which is extremely toxic to dogs. He eventually had to be euthanized. Pets Best was very compassionate and concerned. They prrocessed my claim very quickly, which was so appreciated.

ASPCA to the Rescue
Our 5 year old Labrador, Molly, was throwing up and not getting better. We were at the vet's office 4 times in the span of a month. Finally she got better! Then we submitted our claims and not only were we impressed about the quick turnaround from ASPCA, they called us to ask about Molly! Fantastic service and I highly recommend them to anyone with a pet! Thanks ASPCA!

Great Great Great !
With my poor guy needing surgery once for eating foreign items I decided to bite the bullet and buy Pet Insurance. I liked the options of this insurance over the various other pet insurances. I called and write away my Deuce was covered. A week later Deuce was in need of yet another surgery after being so careful! Dogs will be dogs and that's what an agent told me when I called. My claim process went super quick and I had no issues! I even had a courtesy call seeing how Deuce was doing and to make sure I was happy with the process. I even get calls from time to time just to do a quick check in when they don't have to. Would highly recommend!! They let me choose my package with no pressure to get the better one, they were just happy to have our dog covered instantly!
