We have not had the need to make a claim to Trupanion for a number of years. Last claim we made required that we fill out a form and mail it in and then wait for the results. With this claim our (new) Vet office emailed to Trupanion before we left the office and we had a reply the next morning with all the details. The money arrived before the week was out. My 9 year old labrador suffered a substantial epistaxis and was taken to local vet. They told us it was cancer and was terminal. After consulting with an expert in the area and CT scan , lab work, X-Rays and biopsies.... We were fortunate to find out it was not cancer!!!!!!! VPI covered most of all the expenses without question...!!!! Thanks !!!

do not go there
I had insurance. My credit card did not go through so they told me about it. I gave them another one, went in the hospital. Come to find out three months later when I went to send my bills in for the last several months, they said that they cancelled my policy due to nonpayment. No one ever contacted me to tell me my credit card did not go through. Credit cards are declined every day for one reason or another. It was their responsibility to contact me when they cancelled my policy. They cancelled my coverage with no contact. FRAUD
