Easy claims process

My experience with Embrace was positive. I like their online account information where you can view claim status. My vet filled out the necessary paperwork and faxed the claims. I received a claim response within a couple of days. I had to follow up with my vet to ensure they sent health history and I was issued a paper check by mail. Direct deposit is available if you set it up. I called customer service to request claim forms and they immediately emailed them. I would highly recommend Embrace Pet insurance for peace of mind.

Slow processing

I use to really love Pets Best but lately they have been taking much longer to receive and process my claims.. Before I'd fax my claim in the morning and in a few hours I get an email notifying me that my claim has been received and is processing but now it takes 2-3 days. Also they don't notify me when my claim is processed anymore, I always have to log on to check the status. I'm not sure if their clientele is getting bigger but it's taking too long to receive my reimbursement. I'm only keeping them because my policy is cheaper than most other insurance companies out there and everything would be pre existing if I signed up with a new company.

No hassle,very helpful

I picked up the insurance for my Doberman as a puppy and knowing she was going to get spayed the money I saved was incredible absolutely no hassle whatsoever and the reimbursement came as quick as possible Hub

Great service for our Frenchie's surgery!

Our French bulldog just had disc surgery - major operation. Embrace was exceedingly wonderful! Each claim was handled promptly and we were informed about the process each step of the way. Then the reimbursement was excellent for a very expensive operation.

Takes great care of our puppy!

This is our first experience with pet insurance. Our puppy had several health issues early in life, and Embrace has been great in reimbursing our varied claims. I highly recommend Embrace.

Avoid VPI/Nationwaide

Just received my policy renewal from Nationwide, formerly VPI. Premium went up 32% for my 8 yo Boxer who has had almost no claims!!! Last year declined a fairly large bill for a screening Holter Monitor because I had UPGRADED my policy 362 days before and the Holter was excluded for a year. The upgrade cancelled the previous policy and I got screwed. I appealed since she had had VPI since 8 wks old and I got a form letter denial of appeal.

Bad experience

I bought pet insurance with the understanding that the records would be reviewed and exclusions would be clearly notes up front That was not the case and I will not recommend the company It could only work if you had s puppy so read the policy and don't get surprised with a 4K vet bill that I thought would be covered Bad experience
