Excellent Policy
The best decission we ever made. I have never owned a dog before and it was suggested we get pet insurance and at first I thought whatever...but let me tell you, we have used it and we have no trouble with claims. Our puppy has had her fair share of issues and is now 2 years old and all I can say is, thank you Trupanion! If only they had "human" insurance like this one!

Great Insurance
Great customer service. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for pet insurance. I had Trupanion on my little guy just three weeks after I got him. He is a pekingese male and had a back problem. I am just glad I had the insurance.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PET INSURANCE
I don't often write "fan" letters, especially for insurance companies:). However, Healthy Paws is terrific! I got way behind filing claims due to a rough year with my husband's serious illness. Healthy Paws not only processed everything I sent in late (with no hassle), I even got kind notes hoping everything was going better for us. Healthy Paws covers our rescue Golden Retriever, Brady, who had a rough beginning before coming to us and we've had to deal with some health issues that developed after we got him. When we rescued him two years ago, we went with another insurance company who hassled us about everything! It was a ridiculous nightmare. We cancelled and switched to Healthy Paws. Best decision we could have made. We even convinced our son to use Healthy Paws when he got his new pup. All of our dogs have been rescues and that can mean issues but we're confident we now have the best protection and customer service we can get with Healthy Paws. We would highly recommend them; in fact, we already have recommended them to our friends and family.

Best Pet Insurance Ever
In June, my husband and I purchased a Healthy Paws policy for our boxer puppy, Emma. We purchased the policy early, but thinking that we really wouldn't use it much until Emma's later years. However, early on, Emma had a variety of medical issues. First, it was two instances of kennel cough. Later, something much worse came about. To make a very long story short, Emma had a very rare, adverse reaction to her microchip. Shortly after the chip was implanted on July 21, Emma developed a lump where the chip was. At first, our original vet told us that fat sometimes forms around the chip. We were told to ignore this lump and were told that our dog was healthy. However, a few weeks later, this small bump quickly grew to the size of a tennis ball. We went back to our vet, and were told that he would "explore" the problem during her spay. I didn't like the idea of simply "exploring" the lump in a surgical manner without even aspirating it first, so I listened to my gut and took Emma first to an emergency vet clinic, and then upon their advice to a new veterinarian. This new vet immediately aspirated the lump and found the fluid inside to be something he had never seen before. Emma went into surgery the next week and had a large cyst and the microchip removed. She was sent home two days later with drains to get rid of any excess fluid. However, that was not the end of Emma's problems. As soon as the drains closed up, the cyst formed again (even though there was no longer a microchip), this time to the size of a grapefruit; that is no exaggeration. The new vet recommended that we see a specialist. The specialist operated on Emma shortly after and not only removed the cyst, but also the "pouch" it was growing out of and much of the surrounding tissue. It was quite an extensive surgery. Currently, Emma is on the mend and the specialist is confident that the cyst will not come back, and we are taking many precautions to ensure that it does not and that Emma has a smooth recovery. My husband and I are cautiously optimistic that this is the end of this issue. From Emma's two surgeries and one trip to the emergency vet, we have filed multiple claims to Healthy Paws for this cyst/microchip issue. I cannot thank Healthy Paws enough for handling each claim in a timely and fair manner. The company should be applauded for its sense of compassion and professionalism. This ordeal with Emma has been emotionally draining, but thanks to Health

Peace of mind and a FIGHTING CHANCE!
After watching my best (human) friend fight emotionally and financially to save her sweet, uninsured 3-year-old corgi who we all loved so much, I knew that as a single parent I would be devastated if that ever happened to my dog. Scooter, my corgi cross, was almost 4 yrs old when I decided to enroll him. He was healthy, happy, and amazing. He was also my ring bearer in our weeding last year--he is truly a part of our family. He's now 5 1/2. About 3 weeks ago, Scooter's health suddenly changed overnight, and it was terrifying. A week later, our worst fears were confirmed: a histiocytic sarcoma in his head. With the peace of mind of having Trupanion, we were able to take him to UC Davis Veterinarians, and their team of neurosurgeons saved him. Trupanion worked quickly with us so that we could focus on our buddy! They have been so kind, "tru" to their word, and we will never spend a day without their pet insurance for our dogs (today and those in our future) as long as WE live! We cannot thank them enough. They've helped us give Scooter a fighting chance. He is currently cancer and tumor free (though awaiting chemo), fetching, taking walks, and begging for bacon barely a week and a half after surgery. His scar is quite impressive--just in time for Halloween :) We have our best friend back, one day at a time, and we couldn't have done this without Trupanion. We have literally told everyone who will listen--even total strangers in the vet hospital! GET THIS FOR YOUR PRECIOUS PETS! No point in shopping elsewhere. They are simply the best, and they will share your sense of urgency. Love them!

Great insurance coverage.
Sadie had an ACL operation which was very expensive and embrace paid 80%. They have also paid for pain medicine after the operation.

We love embrace!!
When our puppy was first born I spent a couple of months searching different insurance plans and embrace was the best out of all of them. Other companies have max per lifetime where is Embrace has unlimited lifetime benefits. Also Embrace was the only one I could find that offered not only accident and injury but wellness as well. Every time I have sent in a claim whether it was wellness or illness I have received my reimbursement within less than a week. When I call in for support there is no automated junk to sort through it sends me directly to a live person who is very knowledgeable and answers all of my questions. We wouldn't have been able to get any of our puppy's vaccines, heart worm pills or flea/tick collar if it weren't for the wonderful wellness program. The monthly premium is the best price for the most coverage I found and trust me I did extensive searching before deciding on embrace? I'm glad I did.
