My experience was amazing
My experience was amazing! I called to ask about my payment plan and why it went up. Ashley was the representative from Embraces and she explained my policy coverage for my two dogs. She suggested to get the Embraces App and then she helped me maneuver through the App. I told her about my two vet visits and she explained to submit my claims and download the bills. And within two days I received a refund! That was the fastest service I ever received! She was a Superstar!! Thank you!!!

Nationwide is the Best!
I love Nationwide, they are the best insurance company for Pets. I just signed up again to insure my new Kitten (my previous kitty passed away recently). I've been insured with Nationwide for the past 20 years and they have excellent Customer Service and reimburse claims very timely. I always refer my friends tthem.

Nuclear-Grade Incompetence
This is the most dysfunctional insurance company I've ever worked with. My claims keep being denied because the claims department never thinks to ask the records department for, you know, RECORDS before denying my claims. Uploading records to my portal on the app does nothing; so I now have to email records directly to the claims department and then call and tell them that the email exists. Then the records department has to connect that email with my claim number, despite my claim number being in the header of the email. The departments flat out don't communicate with each other. Calling it a circus wouldn't be fair. Circuses are better coordinated. Even if the claims department knew what it was doing, it wouldn't change the fact that reimbursement takes forever. It's been six weeks and I haven't seen a dime. My cat can't receive life-saving treatment because all of my claims get denied. The claims department is working overtime to prove my cat has a preexisting condition, despite two annual wellness exams and blood work proving she was always a healthy cat. My veterinarian is even willing to testify that my cat was never sick before her issues started. Doesn't matter. Did I mention one of my claims is just an error message now? I guess that's not getting reimbursed any time soon. I have no faith that this company will ever pay me. And now that my cat is sick, I can't switch insurance companies. They know that. So they aren't attempting to help me at all. I pay extra for 90% reimbursement with no annual limit. I guess someone knocked the 9 off of that 90 and never bothered to put it back. Pets Best is that cousin who's always borrowing money and promises to pay you back next week, next month, next year, once he gets a job, once he pays off his car, once he wins the lottery, once he becomes a billionaire. It's not happening. Ditch the cousin and find a better insurance company.

I recommend SPOT to EVERYONE! Premiums are well priced and economical. After doctors visits, Simply have your veterinarian provide emailed/digital copies of itemized invoice and diagnosis, pass this on to SPOT through their easy to use interface, and expect payment for covered expenses within 5 business days. The interface is cheerful and I find their approach comforting at a stressful time (health crisis with a sick pet!).
