Incredible Company!
We had only paid two monthly premiums for Phoebe when she got sick. A puppy that is a chewer is not uncommon, but Phoebe got sick due to material in her intestines. Surgery took place immediately and her recovery was fast. Healthy Paws turned around our claims in less than two weeks. I highly recommend Healthy Paws, especially because their representatives were so helpful during the claims process.

Excellent Pet Insurance
My dog herniated a disc in his back. He was in a lot of pain and had motor weakness in his legs. He needed an MRI and surgery right away. I submitted my claim but taking a photo of my receipt with my iPhone and submitting it via Healthy Paws app. The claim was reviewed and I was reimbursed thousands of dollars within less than 2 weeks. I can't say how easy and fast it was working with Healthy Paws. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet. You never know when you'll need it.

We paid our premium for one year before needing to file a claim. When we did file a claim after the first year, first: we mailed our claim form via regualar mail. I didn't hear back, and after 2 weeks I called them. They told me that by regular mail, they may not get my claim for 3 weeks and I should have faxed my claim. (the claim form did not state this). Meanwhile, since it had been a year, they raised our premium by $2.00 a month. We still didn't hear back about our claim and called them again - since we had moved to another county, they informed us that our rate had been raised another $2.00 a month. They also informed us that they have a 30-day period to receive claims and they still had not received my claim so we should re-submit it, which we did, by fax. Then we got an email stating they needed the vet's note from that visit so we faxed those to them. Then they still did not process our claim. Meanwhile we had 2 more vet visits that we filed claims for, by fax. They kept sending us emails saying they needed more information - we kept trying to comply, but they kept sending us emails saying the time had passed and we would need to re-submit our claims. We finally faxed everything we had in our possession about our dog and they still were not processing our 3 claims. We finally gave up and cancelled our insurance with them.

Best decision I could have made was ASPCA.
Our 11 year old Golden Retriever has been with ASPCA since she was 4 Yrs old. Best decision we ever made. They have proven to be very thoughtful, caring and prompt with reimbursements as well as with advice, recommendations and understanding whenever our pet had a health issue. We highly recommend ASPCA to any and all pet owners.

Really glad I bought this insurance!
When my cat Betty was 8 years old, she developed lung cancer. After $4000 in vet bills, she had to be euthanized anyway. So I learned my lesson and got insurance when I adopted two young cats. When my cat Dexter was 3 years old, he ate a long piece of cotton cording that got stuck in his small intestine. Two ultrasounds confirmed that he would need surgery to remove the cording. The total bill was $6100, of which I paid about $1500. $1500 is still a lot of money, but it's way better than $6100, which I would have paid to save Dexter, but I'm very glad I didn't have to.

Happy with Policy
I have had great experience with VPI/Nationwide pet insurance. They have covered my 8 year old Bassetts surgeries at a decent amount. I am so glad i took out the coverage when I did. The amounts paid what what was listed when I took out the policy so I knew what to expect. Times even more.

It is the BEST insurance!!
I am 88 and living on S.S. If Rosa had a serious illness I wouldn't be able to keep her. Having Prt's Best Insurance bring security to her and peach of mind to me. Also, hen I have needed to file a claim it has been a very positive experience.

Healthy Paws & recent experience shared.
When we decided to buy our Boston Terrier puppy, we knew simultaneously that having pet insurance was just a natural fit. I researched EVERY, single, pet insurance company/plan, before going with Healthy Paws. Were there other policies that had different options or cheaper plans - yes. But when we truly evaluated the pros vs cons, read the "fine print," having a 90% coverage option (for our puppy's age), no limits, low deductibles and much more - it just felt right. Fast forward 18 months. As with any unexpected injury (torn knee ligaments), it was one less thing to worry about knowing Healthy paws was there from beginning to end and beyond. They communicated with us expeditiously, handled our claims in less than a couple days, and we were blown away by their follow-up & concern for the well-being of our dog post-op. Everyone has good and bad experiences, but for us, recommending pet insurance through Healthy Paws is an easy one - without hesitation. Hope this helps anyone who's on the proverbial decision fence.
