Wonderful help and wonderful service
My cat Ace has had many problems with his health and Trupanion has always been there to help with the costs. When I need to take him to the vet, it is very stressful, as I love my Ace, want him to be well and Trupanion helps with the money part of the stress.

Super Fast Pre-Authorization
Our little Yorkie requires surgery and the customer service rep. suggested we get a pre-authorization for the procedure so we would know exactly what would be covered. I took the forms to the vet and they faxed them over to Trupanion. By the time I got home, I had the approval! Talk about super fast!

I'm keeping Embrace!
I came across Embrace Pet Insurance at the OC Pet Expo and signed up for a free trial thinking I wouldn't keep; so many people have told me that pet insurance is a scam. We had just rescued our dog and were new to all the dog options. During our Embrace trial, our dog got very sick, woke up one morning throwing up. It was so scary and we took her to the vet right away. The vet bill was around $600 after scans and medicine. I called Embrace to ask them if her medical bill would be covered. I was expecting some run around and a denial. To my surprise, they said "YES"! I couldn't believe it. I filled out some very simple paper work and they walked me through their simple process. Each time I called, someone very nice spent time answering my questions and walked me through all the steps. After the $300 annual deductible, I received a check for $110. I'm keeping Embrace. It's worth it! It buys me peace of mind knowing that I can take the best care of our dog and not stress out over vet bills if she gets sick or hurt. I like a company that practices good customer service. Thank you Embrace for offering this great service and for pulling me over at the OC pet expo to have me sign up for a trial! I'm grateful and am happy to let others know.

Best decision we've made
So happy we signed up for Trupanion for our puppy. She had to have surgery and they paid quickly, no issues at all. I hope we never have to use them again but if we do, I know they will take care of things. Thank you.

Very helpful health insurance!
For Decades our family has been rescuing Greyhounds. We always try to keep a male and a female. We have also had cats and other dogs. Vet bills can add up quickly. Some years ago we decided to take out health insurance on the hounds. Some years it did not pay but in other years it has been a savior! We have always found the claims to be settled fairly and in a reasonable amount of time. Most recently we had huge bills on one of our dogs who had cancer. ASPCA insurance paid thousands of dollars on that claim. We strongly recommend this coverage.

Recently my dog has required multiple diagnostic tests for problems urinating. Multiple bills have been submitted and the turn around for payment to reimburse me has been very fast. Unfortunately my dog has been diagnosed with cancer and just started on chemotherapy. I am assuming that this quick review and reimbursement will continue. I have been very pleased with how Trupanion has handled covered expenses.
