Called in on a weekend and immediately…
Called in on a weekend and immediately got through to an agent, Josh Sabado. I told him my specific coverage question and he immediately understood and gave me the answer I needed, no other unnecessary info. He felt like a human giving me real life pros and cons of my current provider and what coverage I was considering. I work in insurance so I know what gimmicks are used, and he didn’t use any. He also knew how to answer a more difficult question about how they price their policies, which was reassuring that he knew his stuff and their pricing strategy wasn’t to give discounts for new policies and then jack them up the next year. I ended up buying a policy thanks to my call with him. It was quicker and easier than when I called my current policy to cancel (stuck in phone prompt hell, having to through annoying rep questions and scripts they were required to read me, versus just answering my needs.) Would use Josh again. Thanks!

Heartless and thoughtless
I explained my situation and was given correct information. However - very important - tell your people NOT to wish someone a wonderful day when the client has just informed them that their pet just died the previous day. Completely heartless and unthinking. I told her so. Some words of sympathy and condolence would have been appropriate, not a cheery “enjoy the rest of your day”. is she a robot or a human being with a heart?

Though I never spoke with anyone, my doctor's office submitted Ralphie's hospital visit, I received conformation that my paperwork was received and I would be notified in a fews days of their decision. Thursday I got the email with the amount that they are covering Ralphie's hospital bill, I could not have more satisfied and happy

Customer service team is outstanding. Now that I understand the process, the experience was outstanding.
The customer service representatives at Met Life Pet Insurance are just outstandng. They helped me navigate and learn about the process. The were knowledgeable, efficient and kind. What a pleasure to talk to a live person to resolve issues and get help. Now that I fully understand the process and documentation required, the process to file a Met Life Pet Insurance Claim was seamless. Thank you.

Great overall
I haven't used other pet insurances so I can't say that this is the best overall.. But I can tell you that filing a claim was exceedingly easy. I had a question and spoke to customer service and they were amazing and even fun to work with. When I received my claim information back I understood why something was covered and why other things weren't. I wanted a certain medication to be covered however I knew it wasn't beforehand as the medication list was easily available. So far, so good, though I do have a few more things pending. Hopefully we keep on this trend.
