My German Shepherd
My German Shepherd, Coco lost a toe nail. I took her to the vet, they sedated her to remove the nail. A month later she lost another nail, back to the vet. She has a Yeast infection that affected all four paws. I submitted all of the invoices to Spot Pet Insurance and was reimbursed immediately, less than a week. When my policy renews I will most likely upgrade. Her care is #1, knowing that the financial burden won’t set me back priceless.

Do Not choose them for your Pet Insurance!!!!!
We have had nationwide pet insurance for 10+ years. My dog was just diagnosed with a thyroid tumor. It costs 8K to remove the tumor and Nationwide will only pay $715!!! Please look at their Major Medical Plan Benefit Schedule before purchasing!!!!! They are criminals!

Such a great experience with my last dog, I will always choose Nationwide.
The website was very easy to use! But I chose to use Nationwide for my new puppy strictly because of how I was taken care of when I had my last Beagle who passed away 1-1/2 years ago. My experience throughout his life was such a good one, I decided I would never use any other company should I ever get a new puppy... and that's exactly what I did.

Embrace was great until they were bought by JAB in 2023. Now they are the worst.
Embrace was great for over a decade, with reasonable annual rate increases and painless claims, until about two years ago. That’s when they were bought by JAB and both my dogs’ rates suddenly doubled, even when adjusting for age. Embrace then began refusing every claim, pretending there was “no diagnosis code,” requiring five back-and-forths between me and my vet and Embrace before any payout was made. We now have preexisting conditions and it’s too late for us to switch carriers, so we are stuck with a plan almost expensive to use. I thought I was planning ahead responsibly for my dogs’ health in old age, and instead JAB and Embrace has ruined our finances. Zero stars.
