Always A Trupanion Client
We adopted our fur baby, Katie on Valentines of 2011 and since then she has incontinence. Unfortunately in the past year or so, she has been diagnosed with Degenerative Joint Disease. Due to her pain, she is taking a pain pill. Our Katie takes Pronin, Vetprofen and Gabapentin on a daily basis. Trupanion has, in a timely manner, processed her claims. We have recently met our deductibles for 2 of her medications. Thank you, Trupanion for having an excellent staff and insurance coverage for Katie.

Best decision I have ever made
We were playing in the creek and Alex decided to pick up a rock. When he picked up the rock he split his front tooth down to the root. Our vet referred us to the dog dentist, who was amazing and fixed everything. Trupanion covered almost all of it and explained what they did and did not cover. I am now adding my other dog to trupanion because I trust and value their service.I work at a dog daycare and tell all of the clients how great and wonderful they are. No matter what happens, I feel comfortable knowing we have Trupanion.

Vet/Embrace Communication Gap
My vet faxes the claims but many times Embrace does not seem to receive them. Recently they faxed 2 claims (separate dates). Embrace responded with one claim number so I wrote back and questioned the vet and also questioned Embrace as to whether they had indeed received both claims. Embrace assured me they had and then I received a response for only one claim. I had to contact Embrace again for the second claim and ask my vet to refax the 2nd invoice again. This has happened repeatedly in the past. My vet is very efficient. I love Embrace insurance and am usually very happy with the service but I would like to see this communication improved.

Glad To Have
I have two cats and both cats got sick at the same time! My male cat was in kidney failure and had to be in the hospital for several days. His bill was going to be several thousand dollars. My female cat was unable to hold food down and had to have many tests run to find out what was wrong. Both cats are doing fine now but it was expensive. Petshealth paid more than 2/3's of the expense. I am very glad to have this insurance!

Great Insurance!!
I have injury and illness insurance and am glad I invested insurance. My new puppy had ear infections and I got the Trupanion 30 day free trial. They paid for her vet bill even though I hadn't given them a penny. Over 100.00. I finally had to have her allergy tested to see what was causing the recurrent ear infections. Guess what it was milk. I was keeping her away from chicken and grain and it wasn't those things at all. Now I know what it is and can keep her health. It cost $500.00 for the testing and Trupanion paid of $450.00 of that. My dog is 6 lbs. and my husband is over 250lbs, I am always afraid she might get hurt but if she does I know it won't break the bank. The extra 5.00 rider is great too so I can get her aqua or physical or behavioral therapy if she needs it for a very low cost. Pet insurance is great and Trupanion is really a great investment!!

They've a great reputation and it's well deserve
My sweet cat has been seriously sick and required a long hospitalization. Because of the care he received he has made a miraculous recovery. If I did not have Trupanion I would not have been able to entertain a thought about treating him. I've been impressed by how the front staff - the billing people who deal with insurance companies all the time- at each doctor we have visited have sung Trupanions praises. And Trupanion has come through for me and my cat, not flinching at the costs which were quite high.I enthusiastically recommend them.
