Very supportive and helpful when my dog was bit.
Well worth the monthly cost and deductible. Is a must-have a very "living on the edge" sort of puppy growing up in New York City.

As soon as I submitted my insurance claim form, Embrace sent me a reply email that they received it. I then received follow up to emails to let me know I will be covered and that the check was sent. Very pleased with their service.

Embrace Was there for Me and Jake
My puppy Jake is very active and gets into everything, When I signed up for the free trial Jake made sure we got started with the claims soon after. He ingested something that made him sick, off to the vet hospital that is when deductible was met. Then a month later he became wobbly in and had many test and hospital stays and then surgery bills came to over $2000 Embrace was very quick and covered the bills 80%. Customer Service was great they actually cared about my dog and a few of them emailed to see how he was . If only people insurance could be that caring and helpful. I recommend Embrace very highly I hope we do not have to make any more claims for awhile but if we do I know Embrace will be there .

Best ever
I have had sharpeis for over 20 years and have contracted with numerous pet insurers. Not one can hold a candle to pets best. I recently had to put my 2 1/2 year old female sharpei, Harley to sleep. She required extensive medical and critical care. Pets Best reimbursed me promptly with the highest amount according to my policy. There was never any issue over bills or procedures. Their personnel are always pleasant and helpful on the phone and in our case extremely compassionate. I would never even consider using any other company to insure my dogs. They are the platinum standard.

Extremely easy to work with
My dog has had a rough first year as far as health goes. She has been poked and prodded more than any animal should for such a short life. Embrace was there for all of her procedures and covered them all without any questions. I highly recommend Embrace for all your pets

Excellent Company
I switched to Embrace after having been with another company for a few months and the difference is like night and day. Besides the ability to customize your plan the customer service is outstanding. They have answered every question I've had clearly and were great in explaining my coverage and why certain things weren't covered (unlike the last company I was with). They are super helpful and nice and I appreciate the follow up that they do. You can tell these folks love what they do and love the pets they are taking care of. I wish I'd signed up with them earlier

My dog fell down an embankment with my daughter in tow and ended up tearing her cruciate ligament and needed TPLO surgery. I have heard these surgeries are not usually covered by insurance companies and I thought I was really going to be disappointed but to my very appreciative relief they paid the majority of the bill! I'm so happy, I really didn't know how I was going to pay for the surgery Chloe needed. Thank you ASPCA!!

beware....
Beware if you are deciding to go with insurance! I will re-post my outcome on but wanted to give anyone a heads up that they may be a scam company. Prior to enrolling my dog in this insurance plan this past June I felt that I had a good insurance on my side in case anything happened to my little dog. Well, Right now i am very disappointed in this company and it appears that they are dragging their feet and desperately trying to find a reason to not pay out the claim. I am giving them to the Jan 2 (next direct debit date) to see if they are reputable and I will l keep you posted but today I was on the phone with them "confirming their questions" even though they somehow did find it in their records after I very bluntly pointed out that I have given them everything thing they have requested but the representative stated they needed to "make sure of the dates and times on the receipts". A stall tactic in my opinion. And I let her know that they do not have my permission to charge my account for the next month and she told me that with holidays it most likely will not be decided upon by then even though they have had a month or longer to date! If you are considering enrolling you may want to wait until Jan 2nd.

44% rate increase
something has changed with Trupanion. they are denying claims for ridiculous reasons (apparently having an ear infection 2.5 years afrer having another ear infection is pre-existing as if you could never get another one, SMH). Now a 44% rate increase
