Steadfast Insurance Partner for our Pets
After I went through the initial cost/benefit analysis and decided that it was worthwhile to get a policy for my pure bread Bengal Cats. I have been very happy with Healthy Paws. In the past two years, my premiums have remained the same and I have never been denied coverage for the claims that I have submitted and the customer service is the gold standard that many other companies should strive to achieve. I come home from the vet, scan my vet bill, email the claims department w/attachments, and with the same day I get an acknowledgement and depending on time of day, I get a settlement form with the amount that will be covered that same day, within a week (7 days) I get a check in the postal mail. I am very pleased. In 2013 - my premium 395, 721 in claims, 312 in reimbursement. I cant say enough, even if I 'self insured', to put my premium in a savings account, I would have been out of pocket this year and I would not have had the peace of mind, knowing that while my cat was undergoing a medical issue, I did not have to weigh out whether I could afford to continue with the diagnosis and treatment of an accident/illness. I no longer have to worry about 'what if' and can concentrate on getting my pet well, simply because I have insurance coverage for my pets. I was with another carrier for three years and every year my premiums would increase. The first year, it was less than 10% so I thought that is reasonable, but the third year it increased by 50%. My pup ended up getting parvo and she was so sick. Our vet bill including the emergency hospital we took her to came out a little over $2000. But our vet worked with Trupanion and we were able to get it resolved in a timely manner. Trupanion kept us abreast with e-mails and calls as to the status of claim. They were great! Trupanion paid our vet directly and we just paid the remaining balance which came to a little over 35 bucks. This is great! My pup is herself again and we are SUPER HAPPY with Trupanion. I am recommending this insurance to all my pet loving friends and family. They are there 24/7 and truly helpful.

Petsecure has been part of our family/pet plan for 15+ yrs. We have never had a claim that was not paid within 10 business days. On one occassion our dog Sandi had surgery, came home and our other dog helped him out of his protective collar. Sandi was back in the hospital the same day as he re-opened everything again. Same surgery and we were covered for both! They have helped us through many tears. I recommend this company to many people.

Healthy Paws pet insurance is no doubt the best!
We have 2 Corgis and have been insured with Healthy Paws for over two years. During this time our Corgis have had the following surgeries: ACL repair, two back surgeries (one for each dog) and eye surgery. Had it not been for Healthy Paws, this would have cost me thousands of dollars. Instead I paid only my yearly deductible ($50) and 10%. Healthy Paws customer service is THE BEST I've ever experienced. They are very quick to process claims (the eye surgery claim was processed in less than 24 hours). The other claims were processed within 48 hours and I received the checks within 2 days. The staff is courteous, professional and they truly care about your pets. Make sure you get your beloved four-legged friends' health insured by Healthy Paws. You will be glad you did!

Trupanion came through big time. My 10 year old standard poodle was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and required a specialty vet and specialty vet services. Trupanion paid full at 90% as they claim.

I insured my cat last year and I am so glad I did. They have been timely on claims and very helpful. They are very upfront with what their policies cover and don't cover. A lot of people that have issues are not reading their policy very carefully. I thought my policy rates were going to increase a lot since i have used them for all my cats inhalers which are expensive and it only went up 0.63 a month so I know they don't increase your rates based on the number of claims filed. I will recommend them to everyone and I will always insure all my future pets with them.

Cayenne had a bladder infection and pre-diabetic condition due to steroids she was on for a skin problem. After several lab tests and change of meds, she is feeling better and blood sugar level is normal. Hopefully this will remain the case as she is no longer taking the Medrol and is on a lower carb diet. Insurance really helped defray the cost of all of this.

I love this company!
Great plan, incredible customer service. I had another company's policy with my previous dog, and it's night and day. Healthy Paws looks for ways to accommodate you, as opposed to looking for ways to deny coverage. And I literally have a check in my hand within a week of the veterinarian visit. I recommend this company to all my pet-owning friends without hesitation. Now, if they'd only offer HUMAN insurance... ;-)
