Excellent!! My dog was taken to the ER @ Angel Medical due to her eating a rock! She had to have surgery which cost me $2600. Trupanion reimbursed me for $2100!!

Great company
We are relatively new to Healthy Paws, but already we have had a great experience! My vet recently removed a suspicious growth on my dog's ear (it was benign thankfully) and our experience afterward with Healthy Paws was fantastic. The claim submission process was easy and efficient. The company sent a personalized email to check on my dog's recovery. The reimbursement came lightning fast...I have only had experience until now with human insurance companies and expected a long, drawn out process. This was the exact opposite. I highly recommend this company without any reservations.

I am very pleased and happy I choose this company over 6 other companies I was looking at. I got my dogs pills and they sent me a reimbursement quicker than my own health care! Very happy I recommend them to everyone.

Excellent and Fast Claims Service
My dog lacerated his paw pad and needed multiple surgeries and several trips to the vet's office to replace the bandages, check on healing, purchase medication, etc. I had been told by a friend that Healthy Paws' claims service was fast, but I didn't really believe it until I had to submit a claim myself. My claims were processed very quickly. I must have submitted nearly 10 claims for this one incident, and each time I got an email within a day or two that my claim had been processed, and I received by reimbursement within a week of submitting each claim. Very happy with the service and highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for quality and affordable pet insurance for their pet.

I think that the staff at Trucompanion were extremely nice and caring. You could tell that they cared about my dog. The only reason I did not give a 10 in review is because I wish the payment could have been upfront instead of having to pay and then being paid back.

Thankful!
We learned our lesson the hard and very expensive way with our previous furbaby. This time around, the day after we rescued Porsche I had signed her with HealthyPaws I researched and read reviews and selected Healthy Paws. We are so thankful we did. We just recently had to go the ER - fearing the worst case scenario of pancreatitis, but knowing we had Healthy Paws on our team we rushed to ER. Thankfully it turned out to just be a very angry tummy and a bad case of gas. But, almost $900 later, the secondary relief came along with the email that the claim was processed and refund coming our way. Porsche is our only child, and we are thankful for her and that we have Healthy Paws on our team to make sure she has the best of everything.

This is my first experience with pet insurance ever. I purchased it for my 2 new Chihuahua puppies this summer. I did exhaustive research on the internet. Somehow Healthy Paws escaped my search and just when I was about to chose another company, I found them. I could not find one poor review anywhere…and you know there’s always someone who offers one star. The insurance is not for the expected costs…which I had been hoping…doggie dental, spay/neuter, checkups – the things that I pay a fortune for every year! I had to wrap my head around the fact that this is for unexpected problems that could leave me in the horrible position of wondering how to pay for a costly, unexpected but necessary procedure. Too many of my friends were having that experience. The monthly cost for Healthy Paws is low enough that if I never needed to use the insurance then I can count my blessings. Low and behold, about two months ago, at 9 months old, Abby started that skip/limp when running – luxating Patella common to Chihuahuas. Our vet told us she has congenital, bilateral Medial Patella luxation, Grade IV, of both legs. A specialist did x-rays and we learned her legs were already showing signs of damage. We did the surgery on her first leg 3 days later, along with a Sedated Airway Exam to try to learn why she makes a honking noise when she gets excited. Healthy Paws was better than all I had read!! Back Surgery Claim
Our 7 year old corgi Beezy ruptuered her disc and had to have emergency surgery to save the use of her hind legs. We were reimbursed for the surgery within a couple of weeks of filing for the claim. The rehabilitation period for Beezy has been challenging and we appreciate our ability to concentrate on recovery rather than her insurance claims. Thank you to the entire Embrace staff.
