2.99% increase for credit card payments, effective July 4 2025
We are longtime Health Paws clients. On June 5, 2025 we received an email from Healthy Paws, indicating that, effective July 4, 2025 Healthy Paws, will be transitioning their credit card billing services to a third-party vendor, and that they will impose a 2.99% fee on all credit card payments, for Healthy Paws premiums. Previously, Healthy Paws charged no fee for monthly premiums, paid by credit card. In essence, Healthy Paws has increased our already expensive premiums, by 2.99%. That's a lot of money.

Pets Plus Us came through and reimbursed my dog's TPLO surgery costs as well as the medication and preventative medication associated once provided with the required medical records. They are also reimbursing the physiotherapy that my dog is receiving as part of his recovery. They seem to believe in the complete care and health of my pet.

Worst claim processing efer
To make a long story short, it took over a month to process and then it was closed. No one bothered to tell me they needed dental records - I have no idea if they even requested them. Plus what dental records could a dog have? He had to have teeth extracted - that should be a simple enough explanation!

I have nothing but good things to say…
I have nothing but good things to say about this pet insurance. I am so very glad we have it. It's saving us a lot of money with our dog. We were able to get her the hip surgery that she really needed, which is very expensive. Thank God, we only needed to pay 20% of it.
