Excellent service

Wow what service. I took Cooper to the vet on a Thursday afternoon and on the following Monday I received a cheque in the mail - couldn't believe it was so fast.

Fast Efficient Service

I took my dog to the Emergency Clinic for suspected pancreatitis/gastroenteritis. After various tests it turned out to be nothing but vomiting but with Sandy's history we were not taking any chances. The Clinic sent my bills to Trupanion directly and I was compensated within ten days of his last treatment. Also, I scanned and sent a bill for a prescription via email and was paid promptly. All in all, it was a very easy process. I like the fact that Trupanion quickly acknowledges receipt of a claim via email. This is my third claim with Trupanion and my experience has been nothing but positive.

I wish I'd gotten Embrace years AGO!!!

Recently, I had four cats hospitalized at the local Specialty Hospital for the best part of a week for vomiting, diarrhea and lethargy; two were over $7000- and the other two were $3000- plus. We had $1000- deductible + 90% reimbursement. Within two weeks, we were reimbursed $15,000. I have never had any problem with Embrace (these not being my first claims) and I would never consider going anywhere else for pet insurance. I see someone whose animal had breathing problems is upset that their dog wasn't covered when the vet had mentioned coughing at an earlier visit, but to be fair, you couldn't expect that to be covered. Obviously, the coughing was in the previous 12mos because Embrace only asks for 12 months of records prior to start of insurance coverage, so it was relatively recent and "breathing problems" and "coughing" are definitely related to similar conditions like asthma. I have cats who have inflammatory bowel disease, if they had weight loss and I couldn't prove the weight loss was due to another condition "unrelated" like diabetes, then that wouldn't be covered either and I wouldn't expect it to be covered. Of course, if there was weight loss in a prior exam and you weren't diagnosed with a pre-existing condition and your pet had maintained weight since, then at worst it would be temporary. If you have a medical review which is an option, they will tell you if a pre-existing condition is temporary or permanent. Coughing may be temporary unless the coughing or related issues such as breathing difficulties recurs in the next 12 months and if it does, it then becomes permanent. I think if you're honest with yourself, then Embrace is upfront and doesn't try to prevent you from receiving monies you're legitimately entitled to. When I first got pet insurance through Embrace, it was a trial and I didn't have a positive attitude toward insurance companies, but now I'm telling the Specialty Hospital and my regular veterinarian that I would recommend Embrace to anyone without hesitation. They have gone way beyond any expectations I could have had and the service and caring from Embrace is to be commended.

ASPCA representatives are very compassionate .

Ginger, developed a tumor on her right rear paw between her last two toes. As soon as the vet examined her, he scheduled her for surgery. Two days later, Ginger had surgery. The tumor was benign. A week after her surgery, Ginger developed an infection on the same paw. All of the claims were handled in a prompt manner. I was quite pleased with the percentage of the reimbursement for the veterinarian's charges. I have submitted several claims for Ginger over the last four and a half years. All of the claims have been completed in a timely manner. The ASPCA staff is courteous and compassionate. Someone always gives me a follow up call to check on Ginger's health. I always recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance to my friends.

No worries pet insurance

Botti is not only my dog, he's family. When I first adopted Botti I researched different pet insurance. Healthy Paws seemed like the best choice. I was right. The staff is friendly and always there to answer any questions. Their response to my claim reports was quick. After Botti's surgeys I received an email to check on his progress. I have recommended Healthy Paws to all my friends.

Outstanding company

I've had ASPCA insurance company for about 3 years now for my dog bongo. We recently added our new puppy Cali to the plan. This is an excellent company. For every accident or illness that bongo had, the reimbursement was almost immediate. The claim process is easy to file. What I love most about this insurance is that they always add a personal touch with the coverage - each time that my dog had surgery or an illness, I've received calls from them a few days later; saying that they are calling to see how he is doing... That wowed me. You don't even get that from medical health insurance companies. Staffs are overly friendly. Just overall phenomenal!

Improved Service

I am very satisfied with my last interaction with Embrace. They sent the claim checks at the full policy amount promptly and it was very easy and smooth. A couple years ago there was a lot longer of a delay to receive my reimbursement, so the service has greatly improved from my experience.
