I really cannot thank Healthy Paws enough!
My dog had a random injury and fell and broke both of his arms. We rushed him to the emergency and discovered he had to have two stents placed. If it wasn't for healthy paws insurance I would never have been able to afford such a huge vet bill. Because I opted for the 90% coverage, I wound up paying a very small amount. Thank goodness my friend recommended healthy paws before this accident happened. Healthy paws makes it so easy to sign up and become a member. It's the top insurance and nobody can compare. The great news is my dog now is back to his normal life and we are so happy we still have healthy paws to cover him if any event happens in the future. I highly recommend everyone should have healthy paws insurance not only because it is affordable but it is a very safe protection and peace of mind for our animals which are like our children. Thank you so much healthy paws, I really cannot thank you enough!

WONDERFUL. Amazing. best company
Trupanion is such a blessing & has saved us THOUSANDS of dollars. Their monthly rate is impressively low & there are so many options for coverage and cost. I dont mind that they don't cover office visits or annual things, those I can afford. What I cant afford was the $3500 surgery my dog needed on her knee. They covered 90% of it & I had a check in 72 hours from submitting the claim. Customer service is EXCELLENT, you always get a caring, helpful employee. No robots. I have my three dogs & two cats covered and will never go without again. I recommend them to everyone I meet. Best company out there. Easy to work with, affordable, just what I wanted.

Absolutely awesome company!
Almost 4 years ago we rescued our pit bull girl Josie from a local shelter, she had been thrown from a car at barely 2.5 months old. We've never had a dog before, only cats (were insured with a different company that totally disappointed!). A friend of mine has her boxer insured with Healthy Paws and said if I wanted to insure Josie, insure her with Healthy Paws, they rock. So I did.Nobody insures their pet in hopes to ever have to use the insurance but Josie tore her first ACL at only 6 months old. She had to wait until fully grown to have TPLO surgery and Healthy Paws was absolutely amazing when it came to dealing with our claim. They really care about the animal, ask for their well being, follow up after surgeries, they process claims quickly and keep you informed about it at all times, too. They have several, all easy, straight forward and convenient ways to submit paperwork for claims and do not make you jump through hoops to get reimbursed. Nor do they question your vet bill and deduct or straight out decline reimbursement altogether without good reason like my other insurance did. Josie had to have several surgeries since and Healthy Paws hasn't dropped us, or be mean to us. A few months ago I rescued another puppy and of course immediately insured her with Healthy Paws as well. I feel very safe with my dogs having Healthy Paws insurance and I have been telling a lot of people about it already. You don't know if or when your pet will get ill or injured. Hopefully it won't happen but just in case and peace of mind - get Healthy Paws pet insurance!

LOVE HEALTHY PAWS
I am so glad I signed my dog on with healthy paws the minute we got her home at 8 weeks old. We have had to submit several claims over the past year and healthy paws has always reimbursed us back with no issue. My biggest claim yet was for a luxating patella surgery this week and I sent the invoice to healthy paws and they turned the claim around with approval and reimbursement back within two days! So impressed with this company even more so now after a major several thousand dollar surgery like this. I am an extremely satisfied customer with Healthy Paws and will always make sure my fur babies are covered by them.

Fast claim response after emergency surgery
My dog recently had to have emergency surgery due to a polyp obstructing her upper airway. I was stressed out about the cost but Trupanion emailed me soon after I filed my claim, and I received a check just a few weeks later in the mail. During the claims process they kept in contact with me to give me updates. I am very glad with my decision to chose this insurance company, and I am very relieved how quick I recived money back without issue. My dogs only deserve the best and that is Trupanion.

Efficient!
My dog was diagnosed with Cushings disease when he was about 7. I had purchased the insurance in case there was an emergency but I never expected him to be diagnosed with a long term illness. I'm happy that I had the insurance when he got sick and I'm happy I have it now for his follow ups. I have had only positive experience with claim handling and customer service. My dog receives frequent care and feels good and that is priceless.

horrible
I got vpi because I wanted to insure my ferret. I filled a claim, let's say its been almost 2 months now and I still haven't received my money back. I filled the claim then they say we cant help we need medical records from the past. I submitted all I had and they said I had to wait for my claim to be resubmitted. The csr did not know when I was going to be able to get my money back
