Generally Good choice
HI- I was very pleased with Trupanion's efficiency and general demeanor. I do wish I had a list of what was not covered prior to its first use. For example, the tummy tack was recommended by the surgeon, not something I specifically requested. For large chested dogs, it is almost a requirement if they are being "opened up". I also didn't understand the anesthesia payment and at this point, I don't have time to follow-up with either the ER(Blue Pearl) or Trupanion. If the latter had given me a more complete breakdown, it would have been appreciated. If Trupanion would like to give me a call, it would be appreciated. Was it reduced because of the tummy tack? I feel that the whole anesthia cost should have been covered.

Very pleased with everything regarding my claim!
My dog got hit by a car and seemed ok but there was internal problems and the 24 hour observation turned into a week and then had to go back 2 1/2 days later and very please with how quickly they handled the claim and how accurately they paid according to their literature of what they would paid. Highly recommend having trupanion for pet insurance!

Our vet recommended Trupanion for our new addition Hagrid, a neopolitan mastiff. I am exceedingly happy that we procured the policy at the time of his first visit. He had complications from surgery and Trupanion covered what they promised all in a very short time frame.

Best pet insurance
Healthy Paws is the best option in the market - they are caring, fast, and incredibly helpful to process claims, especially the expensive ones! They made sure that when my dog was admitted to the hospital, that once I submitted the claim, they reached out to the doctors directly and made sure I got the reimbursement as soon as possible. I've had other insurance options, and none of them compare! Highly recommend!

Always finds a way not to pay
After more than 6 years with this company, they have never paid me a cent. They consider a visit for seizures due to a brain tumor a "routine visit". They will only approve small costs which are under the deductible. Read what Consumer Reports says about pet insurance. You are better off putting the premium cost in an account and paying yourself. Also, when I called last week saying my dog would be euthanized I was told to call back "after she was dead". How heartless.

Consistent Excellence in Customer Service
I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Embrace Pet Insurance. I've told my vet repeatedly to recommend them highly. I insured two kittens that were healthy when we purchased the Embrace Pet Insurance. One of the kittens developed a serious digestion problem and needs to have steroid shots every 5 weeks. Embrace covered the stated amount of the diagnostics tests and the ongoing shots. The process is easy and accurate. Additionally, they reach out to confirm that I receive the check and when I email or call/chat they know who I am. My son told me it was a marketing tool, but I prefer to think that they really do care about me and my cat. At least it makes me feel that way. I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance.
