Best decision we've ever made for our two dogs!!
We have two dogs, both were rescued. Sven is a Lab/mix (l yr 4 mo) and and Zazu is a pit bull (6 mo). We started to shop around for pet insurance after we adopted Zazu in March. I have heard nightmares about pet insurance and how it is a scam, but that did not stop me from doing my research. At first I was a little hesitant with signing up on FIGO. Everything I read about FIGO and what they cover sounded almost too good to be true for the price I was quoted at. We decided to give it a go and even ended up doing the 6 month waiver on knee related injuries for Sven just because we were already at our vet for Zazu's first round of vaccinations. I could not believe it, but Sven ended up tearing his ACL just this past week; about three months into our policy start date. Since we had his knee's waived everything is covered!! The visit was covered and the surgery is going to be covered to! Also, the fact that FIGO's staff is so caring makes this entire process that much easier on us. I filled a claim and three days later we were sent a get well soon card in the mail for Sven. Every time I call FIGO, the first thing they ask is how Sven is doing. The staff is amazing. I have already referred my entire family and friends to FIGO. Every pet owner we stop to talk to at the pet store I end up mentioning my experience with FIGO. FIGO is the best and most caring pet insurance out there.

Excellence service !
We've had Pets Best insurance coverage for our Maltese since she was a puppy. Claims have always been extremely easy to submit, quickly and fairly processed and paid in a timely manner. I only wish our family's healthcare insurance coverage was this good.

Thankful for ASPCA Insurance
Jack will be 7 yrs old in December. He is a Bichon Frise/Poodle. What a WONDERFUL addition to my home. I am 69 yrs old and THIS IS MY FIRST DOG (my first pet)! So like my first child I want to take good care of him. I knew I should have health insurance for him so contacted ASPCA and it was an excellent choice. I hope not to HAVE TO MAKE CLAIMS but it does happen and they are great about letting you know how the process is proceeding.

Coverage for Niki's torn ACL
I am very appreciative to ASPCA Pet Insurance for their help with this. My beloved puppydog - Niki - had torn her ACL, and the surgery and meds cost me a ton. They paid for most of the cost, and considering I am financially challenged at the moment, was extremely helpful. They also called me to find out how Niki was doing. Previously, Zak had a problem with his bowels - the canine version of IBS - and they have coverd all his meds. These guys are great.

The worst
They do not pay they look to get out of paying they are not trustworthy they look for all kinds of different terminologies to avoid paying they are the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with in the last 40 years and they has been manic not only do I feel that way but my vet Marian feels that way they are cheetahs

ASPCA Insurance has been a life saver
My pup has a lot of health problems, and the diagnostic testing and doctor visits have been very costly. I couldn't afford it without this insurance. Our local paper recently had an article listing expenses people really don't need to incur - and pet insurance was on the list. That article was so wrong.

I am dissapointed in VPI/Nationwide
I have had VPI for nine years for my doggie. During those 9 years I have summited many claims and they pay some but some of the time they don't. At one point I stopped sending claims and just kept it active in case of an accident or illness. Now my pup is nine and in need of medical care and I summited a large claim of about $500, they didn't even pay a hundred of it, I am seriously considering canceling, due to his condition I can't go to another company, so now I am stuck paying for most of the medical bills.
