Quick and Easy reassurance

I am very impressed with the speed at which ASPCA reviews claims and the clear expectations they outline in there policy. I have had no issues with any claims and have seen reinbursement in as little as 4 days. This is especially helpful during times when the vet wasnt sure if there were many options left for treatment, but left us open to try different things without having to put money over your pets life.

Great Customer Service

My dog Coco had to have hernia surgery and this was my first caim with Healthy Paws. They were patient with me and answered all my questions. I can also tell they were genuinely concerned for Coco. I was able to check the status of my claim using their app and received my reimbursement within two weeks. Thank you Healthy Paws for making this a painless experience.

Essential for all pet owners

I have had three dogs insured with Trupanion, I will never own another pet without health insurance. I started with Trupanion when we purchased an expensive purebred puppy. I thought that I was protecting the initial investment I had made and was not thinking if the family member he would become. At the age of three the dog got out of the house and chased a rabbit. During the chase he ran across the road and was hit by a car. It was reassuring to pull up to the animal hospital and say do whatever it takes. Unfortunately the dog died and we were left with a substantial vet bill. Luckily Trupanion covered 90% of it. Following that experience I made sure that our new rescue puppy was insured. Extended family was questioning my decision to insure a mutt. That mutt is absolutely a member of our family. He ended up with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The vet bills and medications ran into the thousands. Along with the IBD, he has had two knee surgeries. Trupanion has covered everything for me, including his life long medications. The dog is very healthy and living a great life in large part thanks to Trupanion.

I am so glad we have Embrace Pet Insurance!!!

We have an english bulldog puppy who has already required a few unplanned trips to the vet. Embrace has been wonderful in processing our claims and reimbursing us for covered items.

THANKS FOR HAVING MY BACK

We often hear about people having your back and that is not the case - with ASPCA they have your back and they care about your pet! When my pet (Jacob) is sick the last thing I want to worry about is can I afford the medicine or can I get that test that is needed. I still am concerned with the bills but because I have my ASPCA insurance I don't have to say 'no' I can't do it. ASPCA is there through the hole incident helping and caring. My ASPCA insurance is priceless to me! I recommend them in every way possible they aren't an insurance company they are a compassionate friend. ASPCA also shows their caring by calling and checking in on my pet Jacob. You may not think to much of that but when something has happened and you get their call it is not worth a million it is priceless. THANK YOU ASPCA FOR HAVING MINE AND JACOB'S BACK. I recommend your insurance to everyone and will continue to recommend you to all I meet.

Excellent

It was very easy to file a claim and the representatives on the phone are all very nice and helpful. There weren't too many hoops to jump through to get the payment and the process was very quick. I always recommend Trupanion to my friends.

Horrible company - Do not go with these guys!

This company totally penalizes you for using your policy! Twice now in a matter of 18 months, they have changed our 'policy' because we have had to make claims. Sadly, my three year old dog is a bit of a lemon, but they do not like having to pay for that. Crazy, which is the reason we pet owners get insurance in the first place! We have one dog who has never yet had a claim and one who has had to have a lot of surgeries and medical care. So it goes. When we sign up for insurance, we hope to never use it, but also hope for peace of mind for when we need to use it. This is not the case with Petsecure. Honestly, worst company ever.

Thankful for Pet Insurance

I am so thankful when we adopted Scooby as a puppy 6 years ago, we purchased an ASPCA Pet Insurance policy. Insurance has covered the costs of injuries and illnesses, including a couple of overnight emergencies over the years. I never want to be forced to compromise his quality of care due to finances (and incidents usually occur when money is tight - am I right?) A couple of things I'm a little annoyed about include coding of charges and mis-categorizing conditions. Many times our vet's itemized list of charges aren't fully covered due to Code 19 'Exceeds Usual & Customary.' (1) Example, Scooby was in for worse than usual spring allergies. He was prescribed a dry eye prescription costing $76, but ASPCA Insurance coded it #19, so we were only reimbursed 80% of $52. (2) Vet prescribed the medicine to boost Scooby's tear production to combat dry eyes due to pollen; however, this incident was categorized by ASPCA as a 'Heredity/Congenital Condition.' He's 6 years old and never had this before. He was not diagnosed with Dry Eye Disease, which IS an inherited condition, but instead diagnosed with dry eyes due to severe seasonal allergies. I was given the opportunity to file an appeal but at this point, it's not worth the fight. Overall very satisfied with the years of great customer service and level of reimbursements. Would like to see ASPCA offer more'Add-on'options (or discount programs) to help pet owners offset costs of non-incident associated medicines, allergy therapies, vitamins, supplements, RX foods (some critters are required to be on these for life) & preventives (flea/tick/heart worm.)

True to their word!

We insured all three of our dogs this year and every time a claim has been submitted it has been paid. I can't say enough how much we like this company. Everything we were told in the beginning has been right on. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for pet insurance!

Best insurance ever, pet or human

Embrace has been stellar since we began covering our Golden Retriever 6 years ago. They are quick, responsive and actually provide the coverage exactly as advertised.
