Great civerage
Our dog accidentally hurt his back and ended up needing back surgery. We had bought pet insurance for the first time about 6 months ago. Thank goodness! Embrace did a great job processing our claim . I highly recommend this pet insurance .

Well worth it!
When we were seeking insurance coverage for our dog, we were given the name of Embrace by a family member who also has coverage through them. The premium is affordable, and coverage is good to great. Recently, our dog broke her leg in an accident and required surgery. It was the first and only claim we made with Embrace. I called to see if the services would be covered, and was given an answer of most likely (they still had to review chart notes, but coverage was likely). This customer service representative emailed us on the day of my dogs surgery to ask how she was doing. That was great customer service and something totally unexpected. It took a while for our vet to send in the claim, and it took a little while for Embrace to review it - only because they were requesting records. A quick phone call resolved the records issue (they, in error, were waiting on vaccine records from the vet her breeder used before she came home to live with us). Within 24 hours of the phone call, it seemed like our claim was processed, the check arrived shortly and it cleared within 24 hours at the bank. Having insurance for our dog was the smartest thing we have done for our dog (other than good vet care and good nutrition!). Embrace was a smart choice and well worth it.

Good, But...
I have submitted several claims for my now four ear old dog and each time Trupanion has stated that the charges are not covered- they are considered routine maintenance. Although the monthly premiums are reasonable, I am considering switching to another company. I take great pride and concern that my dog receives the very best of care on a regular basis to avoid potential health issues and am very frustrated that this insurance carrier denies almost all my claims.

Fantastic Company
Healthy Paws has been fantastic with us. My boy had cancer, went through surgery and radiation. I sent in the bills, within one week I received an email saying it was being processed and received a check within five days of the email. They have covered exactly what was supposed to be covered with no questions asked. This has been the case with every claim I have sent it for reimbursement. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.

Wonderful!
I have been so pleased with the ease of filing claims and how quickly they cover the claim. My dog has horrible environmental allergies, that started when she was a puppy. Embrace has covered her dermatologist visit and even her acupuncture (which helps her tremendously). Other than the initial filing of the first claim, they have been so easy to work with. It feels almost too good to be true! Also, everyone I have ever spoken with at Customer Service has been extremely friendly. It's a nice change of pace to deal with a company like this.

Severe eye trauma, covered!
We have been with Embrace for 2 1/2 years and have again realized how very valuable this coverage is . Our schnauzer had an ulcer in her eye and we are in Florida but our vet is in Massachusetts . We visited a vet emergency clinic twice and then head to see a fit ophthalmologist twice before we got her eye to heal . All four visits are covered under the insurance and all four were paid . Having this insurance allows us to take excellent care of our dog because we know we're going to get most of it reimbursed .

Healthy Paws saved our wallet when our puppy needed emergency surgery!
Our beagle puppy, Bella, got into something she shouldn't have eaten, and became very sick on a Sunday. We rushed her to the emergency vet hospital and got the news that she needed surgery. The high end estimate was $5,700 and the low end was $3,400. We put down our credit card and said please, just help her! My husband said he hoped our Healthy Paws insurance would help with the bill, and it definitely did! One of the best moves we ever made! We recouped a large part of the surgery bill. Submitting the invoice was easy (we used the iPhone app) and we had reimbursement in under two weeks! Plus, we received a very nice email from a rep of the company, who was checking on our dog and expressing real concern. It was so sweet. It is a wonderful touch. We are relieved that we purchased this insurance and have been recommending it to other pet owners that we know!

Wonderful service and caring staff
I've had other insurance companies for my animals through the years and embrace have been amazing. This has been the greatest insurance experience I've ever had. The go out of their way to complete claims and always ask about our fur babies. They were amazing when our year old puppy passed away and even sent a very sincere condolence. Pretty much everything has been covered and no surprises. Thank you so much.

We purchased Healthy Paws pet insurance when we purchased our beagle puppy Bella. In hindsight, it was one of the best moves we made. When Bella needed emergency surgery for having foreign material in her stomach/intestines, the quote from the veterinary hospital was $5,700 on the high side, and $3,400 on the low! We were able to recoup a very large part of the expense. Our dog was saved, and so was our wallet! Claim processing is fast and easy. We used the iPhone app and had the reimbursement in less than 2 weeks. And just yesterday, we got a personal message from a Healthy Paws representative, who was emailing just to check in on our Bella. That was so sweet and appreciated! We both have been recommending Healthy Paws to anyone who has a pet!
